Why early Christian women dressed like opressed Muslim Women?
It's not because that kind of dress and hairdo was connected with the culture of that part of the world and at that period of time. Jesus liberalized us Christians by shedding his blood in the cross and made us the most stylish nation in the world. Do you know that Jesus have very stylish long hairdo almost hippie-like and stylish french beard? Because, Jesus was not crucified yet and Mary and other Christian women had to maintain oppressive Jewish laws. After the blood was shed --Mary dressed and looked almost like me. Their food habit also changed and included pork too.
Why don't Christian women dress like Muslim women?
Don't things like makeup, tight jeans, high heels, short skirts, cleavage, etc all inspire lust in men causing them to sin? I personally don't see how it's possible not to lust after women. This was one of the first things that got me to start investigating my beliefs. Once I hit puberty, my the Bible's definition, I was sinning all the time. I prayed and it didn't change anything. I eventually reasoned out for myself that Christianity was false, a belief I hold today. It just doesn't make sense to me why Christian women don't dress like Muslims. This is what the Bible says about the subject: "But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart." - Matthew 5:28 I think this is a very interesting question and maybe it will get some of the men out there to start questioning what they believe.

Why is it acceptable to criticize Christianity but not Islam?
I would personally disagree that you can not under any circumstances critizise Islam. There is definitely criticism against the religion being brought forward relatively often, comparatively so as for christianity in my home country, Sweden.Though you are right in that critisicm of the islamic religion in many western countries can be more negatively viewed than the same criticism of christianity.What you have to understand is that Islam in most western countries is a minority which in the eye of a surprisingly large group of people from the left-left wing grants them a sort of immunity to critizm. A common trait for this group is that they almost always, regardless of the situation, put themselves on the side of the weak and view them to be right because they are a minority compared to the group who deliver the criticism.This does not neccessarily have to be a bad thing. Due to this many minorities have got themselves a better situation tham before. Afro-american, homosexuals and other groups all over the world can thank them (partly) for their improved situation.The bad thing though is when this ‘support’ turns into blatant disregard for any criticism whatsoever and a sort of ‘black and white’ thinking were there is one evil, large, monstrosity (usually how they view the US in foreign policy) who beats down on the innocent, harmless, individual (usually how they view anyone dealing with the US in foreign policy). This can for example be seen in that the strong left here in Sweden during the time of the vietnam war were (very) strong supporters of the Viet Cong (While this group was not neccessarily part of the extreme left many and now I mean many of them had ties to swedish communist parties, primarily KFML). While I do not want to go into depth into who’s the bad guy in the war I think we can safely say that the Viet Cong was by no means “innocent” or “harmless” and definitely did some horrible things during the war. All of that was of course mainly ignored by the people in these groups who so so strongly supported the Viet Cong and if they at some point did critize the Viet Cong it was definitely not anywhere near in proportion to what they deserved.So when you get critized for your critic against the islamic religion this has primarily been brought forward by strong left supporters who, as usually, is on the side of the minority who are receiving the criticism.
Why do liberals trash Christianity at-will, but refuse to criticize Islam?
Liberals will not hesitate to shove science and evolution down the throat of Christians, but refuse to do this with any other religion. Liberals trip over themselves to trash and criticize Israel, but Barack Obama wouldn't even admit that Islamic terrorism exists. Women will march in Washington because Republicans and Christians won't give them free birth control. Yet these same women ignore Muslims when women are forced to wear hijabs. Why do liberals give Islam a free pass?
