Some Observers Believe That Guests Should Not Be Allowed To Drink Alcohol Before Driving. They

Seeing is believing, or believing is seeing?

Seeing is believing, because when you see it, the possibility exists and the knowledge is stored.

If you feel believing is seeing, it means that you still see the truth in the end and that you believe because you see. Therefore seeing is believing.

How can I drink alcohol in Bihar legally?

By learning geography….A lot portion of Bihar surrounds the international border that India shares with Nepal. I belong to such a place called kanhwa that is located in Sitamarhi bihar. It feels very funny and interesting for me and my villagers that people from long distance visit our village just to get alcohol. Sometimes they just cross the border and stay there during night( India has free border policy with Nepal) or sometimes they drink and come back during their return , they are found to be laid on roads in unconcious state like such homeless vagabond because they consume alcohol in very large dose due to their thirst and patience for a long time. But still it is said TALAB BARI ZAALIM CHEEZ HOTI H.The sellers in Nepal also get high profit and they increased their standard rates and some also provide combo offers of staying and drink( hotel+ alcohol).

Can a Muslim be around friends who are drinking alcohol?

I don't think a physical obstruction suddenly materializes when a Muslim is around peers/friends/people drinking alcohol, so I guess it's up to him/her.I've noticed over the years that alcohol consumption, smoking and drug (ab)use is not limited to non-Muslims, even if the general consensus within the Muslim community is to condemn these substances and habits. What I did notice is that westerners converting to Islam are far more likely to avoid alcohol, smoking & other drugs and even condemn (publicly) their former drinking buddies. I have no figures about this, just my own experience in Brussels (where +/-20% of the population is Muslim). On the question "are they allowed to be around friends drinking alcohol", it's hard to give a straight answer: as there is no central authority in (most branches of) Islam, there is no single rule applying to ALL Muslims. So I guess the views on this differ from one Muslim community/branch to the next.

Is being drunk really an excuse for stupidity or does drinking just amplify how much of an idiot a person is?

drunkenness can impair a person’s reasoning skills, however it does not make people do stupid things. Often if a person does something while drunk then it is a sign that they have a tendency to have done it even when not drunk. If I have poor reasoning skills then usually I can not make the right decision, however I would therefore retreat in my reasoning to what I am familiar with in order to reduce the reasoning involved… if I am familiar with dumb stuff then i will therefore do dumb stuff. But that familiarity in our reasoning comes from either watching lots of people over time doing dumb stuff, or doing it while not drunk. In which case the blame squarely falls on the drinker for choosing to hang out with dumb people, or being dumb when not drunk… it is those choices that lead to dumb stuff while drunk.A common example might be violence. Some people become violent when drunk, but you will usually find such people are either aggressive normally, or experienced aggression a lot in their past. Many people that are violent drunks will choose to avoid drinking because they know they are capable of such violence… those same people blame themselves if they lose control, they do not blame the alcohol.

Do you think Salman Khan deserve the 5 years jail?

Wait and watch.

You know it is a 12 year old case.

He will go on appeal. It will take about ten years to decide in the court. This is not the first incidence where we hear about such legal cases. Indian judiciary is Indian judiciary. There is no parallel. Be a keen observer.

How to avoid drugs/alcohol at parties?

I'm going to a party tomorrow night where there will be a lot of people, and also some drugs and alcohol (I'm pretty sure). I can't drive and my parents are my only way of returning back to my house. I don't want to get into drugs/alcohol, what are some tips for being able to avoid them at parties? Or does it just boil down to saying no? Thanks.

If a guy had a condition where alcohol doesn't affect his soberness at all, would you still give him DUI for drinking?

Yes. DUI charges have a per se law. If you have a certain BAC, then you are legally drunk per se whether your function is impaired or not, The only way you are not guilty is if you were never suspected for the police to test you.

Drug Effects: What happens if you mix cocaine and alcohol?

I spent a number of years in my 20s doing field research on this exact subject so you don’t have to.Of course, all drugs effect different people differently - and the same person differently in different circumstances, so it’s difficult to generalise but, by and large:Cocaine makes you behave like an asshole, but you think you’re being awesomeAlcohol makes you behave like an asshole, but you think you’re being awesomePut the two together and you get a synergistic effect, such that you’re a complete asshole but feel utterly awesome.Alcohol allows you to snort way more coke than you normally would, without getting so much of the edgy, jangly, paranoid tension that excess cocaine consumption usually creates.Coke allows you do drink way more alcohol than you normally would without falling over, throwing up, or other more obvious, observable side effects.Coke, in sufficient quantity, will also convince you that it’s ‘sobered you up’ no matter how much you’ve drunk. To outside observers, you are clearly not ‘sober’, but instead are still talking bullshit - just at much greater speed now. It’s also, apparently, worse for your health than either drug alone - but, let’s face it neither heavy alcohol nor heavy coke consumption is the habit of an individual with much respect for their physical and mental health anyway, so you probably won’t care.

How can I kill my sex drive intentionally?

I know that this must seem like an odd question, but it is something that plagues me daily. I am a 19-year-old female college student that is dedicated to my studies and education. I simply do not have the time for a boyfriend or lover in my life, between school, schedules, and work. The majority of my problem is that I cannot physically sit down to study or focus without thinking about sex, it distracts me at very inappropriate times. Honestly, it is damaging my self-confidence as well, I will begin to feel lonely at times but have to deny myself the pleasure of human connection.
I am very passionate about my education, it means more to me than anything, I have worked hard to get where I am.
I have tried investigating ways of lowering my sex drive, the only thing that pops up when I try to research on the internet is something along the lines of "10 foods that kill your sex drive." I had thought well, I will try these 10 food items but the list consists of items like beer, alcohol, processed foods, among other unhealthy items. It is important for me to try and stay healthy throughout whatever it is that I'm experiencing. So if anyone knows perhaps a healthy diet plan, exercises(already have tried clicking my mouse constantly haha), a vitamin supplement, or anything that may help me I sincerely would appreciate it, thank you.

How would police react to someone drinking water from a vodka bottle in a public space?

This actually happened to my Aunt. She is a teetotaler, but she had grabbed one of my cousin’s empty vodka bottles because it was a liter and a half and it made it easy to make sure she was drinking enough water. She normally kept it at her desk as a joke. Everyone that worked for her knew it was just water and knew she didn’t drink. It was kind of the office joke. She used that bottle for years. It was just normal to see my Aunt chugging from a vodka bottle. It became old news after a while. It became such a normal part of her life that she just grabbed the bottle in the morning and started driving to work. She was absentmindedly sipping on her water when she saw the cop next to her. He immediately hit the brakes and fell in behind her with his lights on.He started reading her the riot act. Yelling at her about how many people are killed by drunk drivers. Telling her she should know better at her age. Just laying into her.She sat there, blushing, but quiet. When the cop was done ranting, she told him it was just water, but he didn’t believe her. He ordered her out of the car and administered a sobriety test.0.0 BAC.Walked a perfect line.Touched her nose no problem.Etc.It wasn’t until after she passed with flying colors that the cop inspected the bottle and realized it really was water. He was still not amused. She then got a lecture on appearances and doing things that wasted police time. She went out and bought a proper water bottle that day.
