Some Open World Games

Open World Games?

Out of the games you want to buy, I'd definitely go for Red Dead :)
Farcry 3 was good but it's one of those games where after you complete it and play a bit of multiplayer you'll probably never play it again :(
Saints Row 4 wasn't the best as other people have said because it just felt like a DLC for Saints Row: The Third.
Expanding on some of the games others have recommended...
- Batman Arkham Asylum is good but it's not entirely open-world as it's set almost entirely in the asylum.
- Borderlands is one of those where it's really freaking good! but only when you're playing with friends and is kinda dull when you don't have all the others in your crew ;P
- Same goes for Dead Island, not much fun on your own.
- Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas I can not recommend enough, seriously!!! Personally I prefer New Vegas as it starts with you getting shot in the face and going on this quest for revenge but that's personal preference :P
- Saints Row 2 is my favourite Saints Row but I'm guessing you've already played that if you're thinking of getting 4
- Skyrim is one to buy, you might think it's nerdy or whatever but it's addictive as hell :P
- Out of all the Assassin's creeds I can tell you that they're good up until Revelations because they added so much new stuff from AC 1 to AC 2 which was awesome, Brotherhood was kinda the same as AC 2 but the story was good so that kept you playing, but with Revelations it was same old same old and boring :/ Black Flag was okay I guess :P
Alright I'm done haha :p

What are the best open world games?

This really depends on the type of open-world games you enjoy. If, say, you’re talking about gun-based open-world games, then you’ll probably want to check out titles from the GTA, Saints Row, Just Cause, and Far Cry series. All four of these franchises give you huge maps where you’re assigned main / side-quests with tons of weapons to inflict maximum pain.If you’re into more stealth-based and / or parkour style open-world environments (with elements of weapon-action), you’ll want to check out this list of excellent games. Off the top of my head, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Dying Light, and Dishonoured 2 are solid games of this type of open-worlds.There are also survival open-world games that basically start you off with minimal equipment, inviting you to freely explore the environment for food, water, resources, etc. to stay alive and build shelters / weapons. This list will be helpful to you. Some of my favourites of this category include Subnautica, Ark: Survival Evolved, Rust, and The Forest.Another subtype of open-world games focuses on creation and creativity. These would more accurately be called ‘sandbox open-world’ games. Titles of this sort include the obvious Minecraft, along with indie releases like Garry’s Mod, LEGO: Worlds, Creativerse, and more. Definitely look into them if you’re keen to flex your imagination through careful resource gathering.Of course, elements of each type of open-world game do blend together for some releases. But, in general, you can’t go wrong with any of these games. They’re mostly all good, depending on your personal taste.Hope this helps!

What are some good open world games for Xbox?

Well until the present time there are very less xbox one only open world games although there are quite a few ones. Most of the games are shooters or 2D action platformers or racing games which cannot have a big map. Now coming to your question I think the largest world is the one in Sea Of Thieves. All of us have heard of this pirate sim game which did not sell out well because of lack of tasks and activities. But the map size of this thing is huge. It takes more than 5 hours to circle around the map which has a rumored span length of 1800km which is huge. Taking every square as 0.32 km you can calculate the span length yourself.Next on the large world list is Forza Horizon 3. Forza horizon 3 has an actually large open world but it seems smaller as compared to other games because of the speed of transport. The cars are very fast which reduces the travel time compared to other games.Third on the list is maybe State Of Decay 2 or Forza Horizon 4. I haven't tried either of these two games so I can't say which one is larger. I only know that SOD 2 is 3 times the size of SOD 1 and FH4 has a smaller map size than FH3.These three are the largest map games I know which are available only on the Xbox One. Of course you could include PUBG as large open world title but PUBG has been made available for PS 4 too, hence no longer an exclusive. Feel free to tell me if you find a bigger world game than these three or if there's any error in my calculations. Upvote if it was helpful. Cheers:-)

Can you give me some open-world games or games with good graphics for my laptop that isn't too laggy or big?

Well you should have given more details on your laptop specifications then. Regardless if you have a laptop with a decent graphics card (minimum 1gb) then i would suggest you to try out Sleeping dogs. Its a nice gane about 8–15 gb in soze depending on version and yes its one of the best open world games you can ever play. And if you want smaller games then try freedom fighters. Its not completely an open world game but hey the game is awesome even though it has old graohics but freedom fighters is a must play game and the best part you can find setuos as small as 400mb-1gb max.Dont let the size fool you its a great game with an awesome storyline and ga.eplay mechanics.and yes please bear for the first few missions do not quit at the start play till the wnd you will love it.Another small sized open world game is total overdose .Man i love this game it has slightly iver the top action sequences but the are cool the graphics again are not really an eye candy but the gameplay is the pro in this game.if you loved the action sequences in matrix thw movie where you could jump over walls and shoot people mid air Total overdose is the way to go.The prince of persia series is another good game series all small in size and amazong gameplay games but if you are into pc games chances are you played the whole series more than once if not definitely go check them out.Far cry 3 now i know you said low size but seriously this is worth it (far cry 4 is even better).Try it if you want to have the expeeience of a lifetime and if you are into first person shooting games. Its slighly demanding though.you might have to tweak the settings a bit.Gta series -no discussion neccesary.

What are some of the best Open World PS4 games?

You pretty much have the extent of open-world games that are good. I know that Dragon Age: Inquisition has been highly praised, but I am not positive it is open world.

What are some open-world games like Jak and Daxter for PlayStation 3?

Infamous 1 and 2 are almost EXACTLY the same as Jak and Dexter and the only games that come to mind

What are your thoughts on open world games?

I've found that their are too many on Steam that are way too similar and buggy. Their are dozens of open world games like The Forest, 7 Days to Die, etc. that are well received by Steam users for some reason, but still need a lot of work. These games are often buggy, have bad graphics (not necessarily a deal breaker for me), contain little to no story, lack decent AI, and are still lacking lots of gameplay. These games have potential, but many aren't finished yet.I've learned to avoid open world games (especially early access games) unless I've either heard lots of good things about it from friends or they’re AAA like Fallout 4 or Skyrim.Open world games require lots of cash and experience to get right, many companies are lacking in both.
