Somebody Anybody Voice Your Opinion

Can you think in someone else's voice ?

Our thoughts are usually 'spoken' or 'played ' inside our mind by our own voice.Have you ever tried thinking in someone else's voice e.g. a popular actor, your friend, relative e.t.c. even a person of the opposite sex ?

Voice Fetish? Anybody Else? (Women)?

I have a thing for voices too, the ones you've listed are great, also the ones some of the answerers have shared, I quite like a bit of a gentle husky voice

There's something intriguing about Rachael Stirling's voice:

What's the chances of someone having the exact same voice as you?

Zero. The human vocal chords are made of trillions of trillions of atoms. The odds that two people would have exactly identical ones is effectively zero.Even identical twins have slightly different voices. We may not be able to detect the differences between two very similar voices, but they are there.

Can a voice recording on the internet be misused to track someone's physical location?

Not the recording per se, but there are two things that come immediately to mind. The first is that the study if dialect is pretty well advanced. Really good dialecticians can identify where you grew up, spent significant amounts of time, and are currently living from your specific word choices, voice inflections and regional dialect errors. Even if you’ve studied and trained to be neutral and speak what is jokingly referred to as “American Standard Broadcast” - the fairly bland and neutral tone you’ll hear used by newscasters - you’ll still have tells. So, if you’re in the place you’re from - that is, you haven’t taken a trip of some distance to make your recording - there’s a pretty good chance that someone could use dialect analysis to figure out where you are.Second is background noise. Some places have very distinct background noises, making it very easy to tell where you are. A couple I know posted a very adult video of them doing something very unusual, and as it turned out illegal, in a very unusual place. You couldn’t tell where they were from the visuals, but the background noises allowed prosecutors to pin point not only where they had to be but on what day and at approximately what time. So, it’s definitely possible to use sound tracking to pinpoint where you were when the recording was made. The details imply a further layer: can the recording be used to FURTHER TRACK YOU.That’s… OK, really. I get it. You deal every day with tracking cookies and you watch stuff like Mr. Robot and….Yeah. No. You record something, you upload it. That’s it. There’s no magic tracker that gets attached to your computer or phone that now magically lets someone remotely open your mic and listen to you, or probe the GPS and let someone know where you are.Oh, don’t get me wrong. That stuff does exist. But you’re not going to run into it by uploading a recording to Quora. And you’re probably not going to run into it at all, frankly, unless you’re doing something really, really stupid in the first place.

What to say when someone compliments your voice?

Sometime people say to me, "I like your voice," or you have a nice "jazzy" voice.
The other day this girl said infront of me and all these people "I LOVE your voice, it sounds like a doctors voice"
?
I don't mind this, I like my voice, but what is anyone supposed to say after that? Without being big headed or arrogant I mean.

And when it comes to singing, I sing like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Seth MacFarlane (just not as good by a mile ;) ) I just mean the way they sing,
And alot of people tell me i've a nice voice when they hear my sing. So what am I supposed to say?

Have you ever hated the sound of someone's voice?

Yes...

Every day at work...(ALL the callers...with some relatively few exceptions that are few and far between...

Hope you liked my voice, though...

You want me to beat this guy up for you? lol...

If you could have anyone’s voice, would you keep your own or choose someone else’s?

I would trade mine in for Sir Christopher Lee’s voice without giving it a second thought. Then I would look for a job making audio books, or as a voice actor.

Is saying a singer is bad an opinion?

I called a certain famous singer (don’t want to name names and start stuff with their fans or whatever) a bad singer, said that’s just my opinion, and someone came at me and we started arguing because he thinks it’s not an opinion. Is he right?

How can you express your opinion without others demeaning your opinion? Is it impossible and we are trending towards a society where the only people who can express their opinions are the loudest and thickest skinned and the meek are quieted?

What you say is true. The squeaky wheel is getting all the grease. In a way the world seems less civilized, and it's a contest to be the loudest and most obnoxious, in order to be heard. But I believe a “ shift" is going to come about, too. The wisdom and peace given by more “humble" souls will soon be more attractive to the majority. All the bull horns will cease to blow and people will appreciate a little more calm, and quiet, while they take in and put out opinions . People will grow tired of the mass hysteria and noise. Many people here know authors and speakers NOT so loud, that people flock to for their knowledge. I wouldn’t consider Dalai Lama so loud and boisterous, and there are many more who speak and love to listen to even the smallest voices. And also, there are many who speak for those who have been “ silenced" over many years, and now, have gotten those voices to speak too.But I've seen it myself, where the most educated sometimes feel they are more qualified to take the platform in almost ALL matters, calling everyone else “idiots". I've seen that derogatory name thrown out there more and more to one another. They give themselves much glory. But YOUR opinions matter so much too. Don’t let anyone ( no matter HOW thick skinned they are) convince you otherwise. And you tell them just THAT to, when they try to demean or silence your opinion. You might mention that while they are the expert and authority in ALL matters, you still have the same right (as they) to voice your opinion.
