Someone Should Help Me To Discuss The Metempsychosis Of Socrates

What's the difference between "Can somebody help me" and "Can anybody help me"?

When you wish somebody to help you, you should say ‘can somebody help me’. ‘Some’ here conveys a feeling of wanting an affirmative reply. For example, it will be better to ask ‘ do you have some tea’ if you really hope ‘you’ can offer you some tea.It might be a bit strange to say ‘ can anybody help me’ because you do want to be helped.

How did Pythagoras die? What were the causes?

The Death of Pythagoras is a fascinating story. Pythagoras was killed by a mob led by a wealthy local nobleman who wanted to become a member of the Pythagorean Brotherhood but who was turned down by Pythagoras because he was a self-evident moron. It was in Croton where Pythagoras had a Brotherhood. When the moronic nobleman named Kylon was rejected by Pythagoras, he influenced lots of local people and created mobs. Those went to burn the houses of the Pythagorean Brotherhood.Pythagoras was among the few lucky ones who escaped the fires. But while trying to escape, the mob was following him. Pythagoras ran out of energy in a bean field. As a life-long vegetarian, he didn’t eat meat but he didn’t eat beans, either, because he considered them our siblings. The mob stabbed him to death by knives. Pythagoras’ blood poured down to his brothers and sisters, the beans in the field. The message is that one should be careful before he angers some very moronic people who are very self-confident, anyway. I may want to learn a lesson here, too. ;-)

How long does it take to reincarnate?

According to Hinduism:The soul which passes out of the body after death is termed ‘Preta’, one that is bound on its onward march to the Beyond. The soul in its disembodied form hovers about its original and familiar places for ten days. It is in the form of a ghost during these ten days. The astral body takes shape from day to day with the formation of the head, eyes, and other limbs of the Linga Sarira, fed and nourished by the sesamum and water poured out in libation over the stones which represent the ancestors. The soul is fully embodied on the eleventh day. It starts on its journey to the judgement seat of Lord Yama, the God of death. It takes one full year from the time of death to reach Lord Yama’s place.According to one's Karmas Yama sends the soul to heal or heaven. Now the soul suffers in hell or enjoys in heaven untill its karmas are exhausted. The souls that descend from heaven have a remnant of Karma which determines their birth. The souls return to the earth by the force of some unenjoyed remnants of Karma. So the time taken to reincarnate depends upon ones karmas in past life.Source : What Becomes Of The Soul After Death

Difference between Aristotle's and Descartes' philosophies of metaphysics?

I am writing a paper for my psychology class and am trying (and failing) to find a way to compare and contrast Aristotle's and Descartes' views of metaphysics as simply as possible. I think I may have researched too much. I need to be able to explain, in laymen's terms, the definitions and key elements of these men's metaphysics philosophies. Help please?
