Something That Will Help Me Stay Awake All Day

Help!my dwarf hamster stays awake during the day?

You read wrong. No hamster is nocturnal naturally. They're crepuscular, that means that they're more active at dawn and dusk, not all night like nocturnal animals are. Like I said though, that's their natural pattern. That can change, it's normal for humans to sleep at night, but people who work night shifts adapt to sleep during the day without any health issues. The you're around your hamster, the more awake it will be. Mine tend to wake up about an hour before I get home, and go to bed an hour after me, 'cos I spend so much of my time here playing and feeding them that they've learned that's the best time to be awake. It's perfectly safe and there's no need to do anything about it. You CAN alter it if you really want, but it's an incredibly complicated process and there's literally no point at all.

How do I stay awake for 5 days?

Coke (drink), the tablets Pro Plus if you can get them and plenty of energy drinks.
Personally I wouldn't advise this, I've done 3 days myself but you'll be so delirious by the 3rd/4th day that trying to do work will be utterly pointless, you'll be like a zombie.
And you won't die after 5 days. You die after about a week or so, world record is something like 10 days but the guy who set it is now permanently institutionalised because of it.
So maybe try to take a few hour long naps?

How can I stay awake in college?

I'm going to be a freshman in college this year and I want to get straight "A's". I know that it is incredibly hard to study for all of one's classes while also getting a good amount of sleep, so I'm looking to stay awake and study during the weekdays and make up the sleep during the weekend. The problem is that I tend to fall asleep if I'm even the slightest bit tired. Does anyone have any suggesstions as to what i could *legally* take to help me stay awake? Coffee, chocolate, energy drinks?

Thanks,
Matt

How do you stay awake at night during the night shift when you're used to working days?

Before you go in to work eat a meal with a lot of protein and fiber - avoid carbs - pastas and such.. the sugar will burn fast and you will feel tired. Proteins and fiber take longer to digest and give you more fuel to work on. Caffeine, if you aren't adverse to that, for a quick pick up about half way through the shift. I worked third shift 7 years and being on 24 hr call I still occasionally work an overnighter. Good Luck.

Is there a yoga style that can help me stay awake I can do on break for work?

Yes, yoga can definitely help in increasing one’s energy levels, and thereby help in staying awake. You can try any of these 5-minute yoga practices, and maybe also a 12-minute meditation method called Isha Kriya (all these practices are freely available online). You can also try Shambhavi Mahamudra which is a 21-minute Kriya yogic method taught at Inner Engineering program. In between work, you can also spend one or two minutes (maybe once every hour or once every two hours) on a simple meditation: close your eyes and gently watch your breath.Hope this helps.

What are some good ways to stay awake?

Take a Nap for 20 mins!A study says taking 20 mins of healthy nap can help to improve mood, alertness and performance. It can provide an easy way to get some relaxation and rejuvenation. Also, Your sleep environment can greatly impact your ability to fall asleep. Make sure that you have a restful place to lie down .Naps can be typed in three different ways:Planned napping (also called preparatory napping) involves taking a nap before you actually get sleepy. You may use this technique when you know that you will be up later than your normal bed time or as a mechanism to ward off getting tired earlier.Emergency napping occurs when you are suddenly very tired and cannot continue with the activity you were originally engaged in. This type of nap can be used to combat drowsy driving or fatigue while using heavy and dangerous machinery.Habitual napping is practiced when a person takes a nap at the same time each day. Young children may fall asleep at about the same time each afternoon or an adult might take a short nap after lunch each day.I would suggest to take an emergency nap in order to stay awake for your purpose to stay awake.
