AS WE LIVE, WE NEED TO BREATHE AND FROM TIME TO TIME, WE HAVE TO SATISFY HUNGER WITH FOOD AND THIRST WITH DRINK. WITH SOCIETY GUIDING US, WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS AND WE NEED FACILITIES LIKE WATER, ELECTRICITY, COMMUNICATIONS. WE HAVE BEEN TRAPPED INTO THE NEED AND DESIRE FOR ALL THIS AND, AS YOU KNOW, THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY. YOUR PARENTS FOOT YOUR BILLS FOR YOU FOR A CONSIDERABLE PERIOD OF TIME. THEREAFTER, ANY SELF-RESPECTING INDIVIDUAL WILL WANT TO FEND FOR SELF AND MAY DECIDE TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES.I HAVE EXPLAINED WHY YOU ARE WORKING SO HARD IN THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH. NOW, ABOUT DEATH. THIS IS ONE EVENT IN EVERYBODY’S LIFE THAT IS A DEFINITE GIVEN. YOU COME WITH NOTHING AND THAT’S THE WAY YOU’LL GO. THE EXCITEMENT IS IN NOT BEING AWARE WHEN IT IS GOING TO BE YOUR TURN. THEREFORE, DURING THE PERIOD OF THIS GOD-GIVEN GIFT TO YOU, IT IS BEST THAT YOU LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST WITH ETHICAL STANDARDS OF YOUR CHOICE. DO NOT FEEL SAD ABOUT DEATH AS THAT NEGATIVE THOUGHT IS ROBBING YOU OF POSITIVISM. JUST WAKE UP TO EVERY NEW DAWN WITH A VOTE OF THANKS AND MAKE THE MOST OF THE DAY. (CARPE DIEM)
Hey friend. I am so sorry you’re struggling with depression, and aren’t sure if you want to keep fighting. I’m so glad you reached out here and are looking for inspiration to carry on. You are valuable and you are worth it! Please know you can message me if you ever want to talk. You are not alone :)To answer your question, there are a few things which motivate me to keep going, even in the hardest times. One is my faith. I am a Christian and believe in a God who is very personal and loving. He sees me right where I am, and never leaves me alone. He doesn’t always remove me from painful situations (although sometimes I wish he would), but He always walks beside me, weeps with me and listens. That is enough to keep me going.I also find motivation to keep going by serving others. I know it can sound crazy to think about others when you’re in a really tough spot, but getting my focus off myself and volunteering has always really helped me. I find a lot of joy in being able to encourage someone else, or bring some light into their situation. It helps my own pain not feel so overwhelming.I also keep pressing forward by leaning on others. As a shy, introverted, internal processor, sharing my problems with other is a big challenge for me. I’ve really had to work on this over the last few years. It helps so much though! Knowing I don’t have to carry all my burdens alone makes a difference.I hope this helps, friend, and I hope you’ll keep fighting for your life! The world needs you.
The description of your ‘wondering’ is actually a lot more common than you might suspect. In fact there are references to this type of musing going back many centuries, so you are by no means the first human being to consider that existence might very well be the imaginings of some unknown entity. What this indicates is a certain imagination, you are able to perceive that there is more to daily life than the mundane explanations which are given to us to account for it all. While I have absolutely no idea about your state of health, I am confident in assuring you that this type of thinking is not abnormal, nor is it symptomatic of any mental disease that I am aware of.Recently, a respected theoretical physicist in America reported that he had discovered a mathematical under-layer to our universe which was very similar in structure to the ‘Mosaic’ coding which web browsers are designed from. Quantum physics has revealed many strange and unexpected phenomenon which indicate that the true nature of our universe is unpredictable, variable, volatile and not at all what we thought it was.The nature of reality is always subject to investigation, evaluation, analysis and observation - as thinking human beings we cannot help but consider many possibilities & likelihoods; this is how we are made and what makes us exceedingly novel creatures. Keep thinking, who knows you might actually reveal something to the rest of us?
My philosophy of life is to live every day knowing that I have absolutely no control over when I am going to leave this planet. I do not know when I will draw my last breath, therefore every breath is precious to me.Wanting to live a normal happy life is never wrong. It is your birthright as a human being. It is human nature to want to experience a sense of peace, contentment, happiness, safety and security. The tricky part of our journey here on earth is figuring out what makes us truly happy and how we can create the proper conditions to allow happiness to flow into our lives.Learning to be present in the present is challenging for most people. They are so busy worrying about what’s going to happen in the future that they aren’t able to truly enjoy the present. There is a power in living in the now.My philosophy of life is to live every day knowing that I have absolutely no control over when I am going to leave this planet. I do not know when I will draw my last breath, therefore every breath is precious to me.I think it is a good practice to plan to do one thing every day that you know will make you truly happy. You owe it to yourself – – it is your birthright. It could be something very simple and very personal. The point is that you are choosing happiness and taking the action to make it happen.Inward and Onward!A2A#TogetherWeGrow #SarasotaRoseFrancesca C.
