My hyper-active amygdala makes it very difficult for me to cope when I am suddenly faced with a problem, especially involving people. Disappointment or anger on the part of people close to me is an absolute anxiety trigger for me, and oftentimes, the first thought I jump to is, okay. I’ll leave. I don’t deserve these people. I’m causing so much pain. I go into hyperdrive and end up cutting ties altogether. Guilt has been, a very substantial part of my life, and I have a horrendous time dealing with it. As such, THIS song, practically reads my mind.

I first heard this song when Charlie goes through the tunnel in The Perks of being a Wallflower. It blended into the context of the movie and aptly fitted the context of the movie.Highway to Hell by AC/DC. A lot of the songs which I will be listing will have electrifying live performances. Just do yourself a favor and go watch its youtube official video. A group of half naked, old hippies moving around, singing and jumping. The movement of the crowd feels like a wave.Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. These are one of those bands whose live performances are better than their original singles. The vocals of Caleb Followill are fucking majestic. It gives an effortless performance which those amazing vocals.Toss the Feathers by The Corrs. There are no lyrics in the song but it doesn’t need any. I’m not sure about feeling alive but it will surely leave you with a good mood.Into the Wild soundtrack by Eddie Vedder. Don’t ever try to this listen without first seeing the movie of the same. It is all about context. You can’t truly feel the essence of the lyrics, of the music, and of the setting until you have seen the movie. Go see the movie. When I feel so unhappy, which songs would make me well?
You can’t just expect songs to control your life. Just because you listen to happy songs, doesn’t mean your truely happy. You could be dieing and listen to a happy song,But still not feel happy. Its the imige songs put in our heads that give a feeling. But that feeling is not happyness for yourself . Imagine if you broke up with someone or someone or a pet died that your dearly loved. You could search all you want for songs. But they will never “make you feel better” as happy songs make you feel bad and unhappy, as they do the opposite because you are unhappy. And sad songs make you feel depressed. The only way to make music make you feel like the song, is if you are in the mood for the song. And the only way to feel well or better is other people. (it’s a different story if the person writes a song for you)
