Soundtrack In First Scene When Rudy Woke Up Of Misfits Season 5 Episode 4

Should I watch Misfits seasons 4 & 5?

Yes, you should give it a try and if you don't get into it, you can always stop watching again.

All I'll say is that Nathan (Robert Sheehan) is only in seasons 1 and 2 (he also makes a brief appearance in season 3), so if you're watching just for him, you're probably not going to be able to get through seasons 3-5.

A lot of fans stopped watching the show and criticise the later seasons of the show because the original cast left, but I think people should give it more of a chance. I did miss the original characters in the later seasons, but the new group has their own unique dynamic and seasons 4 and 5 are still enjoyable and have good episodes (in season 4 I particularly like episodes 1 and 3; and in season 5 episodes 2, 3 and 7).

If you like Misfits for the wacky powers and the dark humour, it's worth picking up again. Seasons 4 and 5 definitely aren't as good as seasons 1-3, but they have their good points. Rudy is hilarious, and similar enough to Nathan that he fills the void left by him but also different enough that he doesn't feel like a Nathan clone. The new probation worker is funny and provides great elements of comedy. The friendship between new guy Finn and Rudy is a fun dynamic to watch. And there's still unique concepts and episodes throughout that you'd expect from the show.

The key is to give it a chance and to not compare the new characters to the old ones too much. Season 4 has good episodes, but it's also slow in adjusting and establishing the new characters, but season 5 really picks up and you reach a place where you feel much more connected to the newbies. I'd say just give it a try and if you make it past season 3, give it time and try to enjoy the new group for what it is. They're not supposed to be a replacement for Nathan, Simon, Kelly, Alisha and Curtis, they're different and even if you don't like them as much, there's good things about them too.

How old are the characters in Misfits?

At first I thought they were in high school but they never talk about it and when they finished there community service they all got jobs and Rudy seems older than all of them

Is season 3 of 'Misfits' worth watching?

i had the same exact thoughts. i loved the first two seasons as well, but nathan was the comedic relief. because he left they immediately had to throw someone else in there who could do the same. but rudy is really annoying and not at all as good as nathan. i honestly stopped watching after the S3:E1. i'm not sure if it getts better, but i can tell you that robert sheehan (nathan) doesn't plan on coming back to the show:(
