Spanish Teacher Wanted Willing To Teach English

Are native English or Spanish teachers needed at all in northern Europe?

Not that I'm aware of... now German teachers in Spain, yes...

How can I teach Spanish online?

One of the easiest ways is to use iTalki. I’ve been teaching English through this platform for a few years now. It takes some effort to get started and pick up students, but once you do it works great! You can create your own schedule, design your own classes, and set your own prices. You can generally earn more if you have a degree or certification, but if you don’t you can still work as a “community tutor”.In order to get students, I recommend optimizing your profile and including an introduction video, so that students can “get to know you” first. I would also recommend starting your prices out a little lower and, once you’re getting regular students, increasing them hour by hour. I don’t teach much anymore, but I started out charging $9 USD per hour and worked up to $15/ hour. With italki, you’ll teach via Skype and have to plan your own classes and lessons. There are lots of great articles on the best teaching techniques for online classes all over the web.

How can I teach my mom english step by step?

Okay so, I am asian and of course so is my mom. She can speak english, like she knows what her head is her arms and all that stuff. But when she talks, it's not like uhh good grammar. Um like, she would sometimes say "Just tell me know." When what she really means to say is "Just let me know." Yeah stuff like that. And she wants to sign up for this school, and I'm not even sure it's right for her. But I offered to teach her english like 2 hours a day cause she wants to learn real bad. Well she knows english but she just wants to improve and speak it fluently. So how can I teach her step by step? Like what should I do first? How to greet people? Or I don't know, I'm not an english teacher, I'm only 13 and I don't get good grades but it's only because I don't try...like do my homework and stuff. But anyways, can you guys name steps for me?

Can I teach high school Spanish without a teaching degree in the United States?

At a private school, maybe… in California, anyway.  Not at a public school, except maybe to substitute.  I was able to teach P.E. my first year at a public school because they allow someone who is finishing their teaching degree and will graduate and receive the teaching credential during that first year.  Otherwise, no, they aren’t supposed to hire you.I also have first-hand experience as to why this is.  I went to a private school growing up.  There are state regulations on a private schools, but not quite as much as public schools.  So they could hire teachers without teaching credentials if they wanted.  My WORST Spanish teachers were the fluent Spanish speakers they hired.  None of them had credentials and back in the day Spanish teachers were hard to come by, so they would hire these people who had good intentions but no idea what they were doing.  They didn’t know what we didn’t know.  They also had extremely poor classroom management skills.  The combination meant we learned almost nothing the entire year we had those teachers.  I learned more about beginning Spanish from a guy who himself was only an intermediate Spanish speaker… but was a credentialed teacher with amazing teaching skills.  He also understood what it was like to not speak Spanish and to try and learn it in school.Teaching high school is SO much more than simply knowledge of the subject.  In fact, in the current U.S. classroom, I’d make an educated guess that only 10% of teaching is knowledge of the subject, 50% is classroom management skills (discipline and control), and 40% is good teaching methods. All that being said… you might be a natural, and then you’d be a good teacher whether you’ve gone to school for it or not.  A teaching credential isn’t going to necessarily make you an excellent teacher.  So if you want a chance, try applying at private schools that don’t require a teaching credential (although it would be a bit of a pay cut).

Can I be a teacher with having an accent?

I'm not a native speaker.
I immigrated to US when I was 13 years old.
right now I'm twenty.

it's very hard for me to get rid of my accent
however, all of sudden, i became interested in teaching 2nd grade in my future career.

I feel pleasure working with young student more than older kids.

My accent isn't that bad. People don't have a problem on understanding my conversation.
But, isn't perfect as native speaker.
do you think that principal would hire me?
or should i change my major?

i live in LA, though. So, it's likely to apply my job application here if i major in this field.

does anyone can give me the TRUE advice for the real world?
