Sports Day At My School But I Dont Want To Go

I don't want to do sports day!?

P.E. isn't pointless. Some kids do literally no physical activity and it gives them at least a little exercise, it's not much, but something is better than nothing. Anyways, this is about the 5th sports day question I've answered and I'll give you the same response as everyone else. 1st off, if you really don't want to do it, you don't have to. They can't make you do a track event like that, if you really want to you can get out of it with a note from a parent. Secondly, who cares if you do bad? You're not an athlete, nobody is expecting you to be amazing and jump really high if you never practice it. You kids are so occupied with sports day it's unbelievable. You seriously are getting nervous about something so meaningless? If you do bad, nobody is going to care in a week. Just laugh it off and get on with you life.

How do I train for my school's sports day?

Finding out whether it is a sprint or a distance race would be helpful, because two different types of training would need to be done. What would be good for both is stretching, changing your diet, stop drinking soda, carbonated and caffeinated beverages can hurt your progress. Cardio exercise is your new friend. If it is a distance race, anything over 800 meters, then you will need to start running long distances on a regular basis (once a day or every other day), and once a week checking your time on the track and learning what pace you need to have to finish at the time you want.If it is a sprint, anything below 800 meters, then working out your leg muscles and core muscles in the gym would be a great start. Practicing your form would also be helpful, as improper techniques will slow you down or hurt you. Also, practice sprinting the race distance you are running many times a day. Set a bench mark time you must hit so many times before you quit working out. Running up and down stairs and hills, safely, is also a great exercis. If you are running the 800, a race I ran when I was in school, you get to train in both forms. This is a race that is too short to be a traditional distance race, but also too long for a traditional sprint. You will need to train in both disciplines, although you can cut back on how far you run for your long run (maybe down to 3.2 kilometers or so) after your sprint and gym exercises. This race is all about pacing yourself and out pacing competition. You want to lead, but not kill yourself trying to maintain it.Hope this helps

How to get the day off school on sports day?

tell your parents the night before that you have a headache because headaches are realy hard to tell if you are faking them or not pull an all nighter so that way in the morning you look realy tired and you shoud have dark circles under your eyes and you will sleep alot more in the day which is what you do when your sick then you can apply a foundation thats one shade lighter than your skin it will give you more of a sick look and when they ask you whats wrong with you in stead of saying you have a "massive headache" dont add the massive just say "headache" in a dull voice also if someone trys to cheer you up smile but dont move your forehead it will look much more belivable

I hate school sports!?

i'm 14, and i just started in a new school.... a really harsh school with uniforms and everything! Bu my problem is... every tuesday and thursday we play sports... like Football, Basketball, and Volleyball. But i HATE playing those sports! It's always just for fun, but i suck so bad! And i know that i just have to practice and all that, but i don't even want to! It's really impressing when i play football/ soccer.... Because i always pass the ball to the wrong person, and other really impressing things. People don't judge me... but i know that i hate sports because i was judged in my last school a lot... People always yelled at me when i did something wrong, and they weren't good friends at all... i would always leave the game and cry... i know it's stupid, but it hurted me a lot. I'm not fat or anything, im in good shape... i have a bit puppy fat, but that's all.. if you look at me, you will think normal shape... But i don't have a problem socialicing, i have gotten a lot of friends in my school. but i'm just tired of the sports! and i don't think i can keep going to a school, where i'm afraid of tuesdays and thursdays... I always get butterflies in my stomach when i think about those days... what do you think? Last time i played a bit football/ soccer, but a pretended that i was sweeting and i needed a break, so i just sat down, and when i saw that there was only 5 minutes left, i went back in the game... what should i do? i cant keep doing this every day!

Excuses for not doing sports day?

I don't wanna do sports day please help!!!?

Its sports day in a couple of weeks and my form tutor put me down for the 100m. I really hate running and i prefer watching on sports day, i really don't want everyone watching me and i hate my photo being taken. I can't say i don't want to do it because all the teachers are being really competitive this year and they want every space filled. Please help none of my friends have to do it, i feel under pressure because i feel like i have to do well (i'm really bad at running)

P.s i used the "i don't feel well" excuse last year. I was telling the truth but i don't think they believed me

Will doing high school sports truly help you get into college?

Nope it doesn'tWait let me explain youI am a student of Hariyana Vidya Mandir a school in salt lake kolkata. In 2013 I passed my class 12 with 85% marks and wanted to get admitted in St. Xaviers college but my marks were not good enough to make it through to st. Xaviers college as the cut off marks was 95% so I decided to apply in sports quota as I was well known for my sports skills in my school. I participated in almost all sports that was conducted on our annual sports day, I won many gold, silver and bronze medals, I won many individual championship trophies. I was house cricket team captain (all the students were distributed in one of the four houses in our school blue red green orange). I was school cricket team captain. I got selected in school cricket team when I was in class 6. I played for CAB (the cricket association of bengal) under 16. Even after this it was not good enough to make it through to st. Xaviers college as their requirement is state level players holding certificate of representing state.I bragged so much about myself just to prove that all was correctly said by me uploading my certificates trophies and medalsSo even after I played for CAB I did not had certificate so I was not eligible to apply for sports quota. And I ended up graduating from bhawanipur college. And I am a proud bhawanipur student.

Can you go to one high school but play on another high schools sports team?

You can be Title IXd into a sport for the following reasons:Your school doesn’t offer the appropriately gendered team for you. You are legally allowed to play if you make the team. (ie, your school has men’s hockey, but you’re a strong female player)You attend a magnet school or homeschool that doesn’t offer your sport. My school didn’t offer cheerleading, so I cheered for another school. If your school doesn’t offer your sport, with consent of two principals, you can usually play for another school. That second school is typically your neighborhood high school. I know people who did that for swimming.

Does it matter if I let my kid skip the last day of school? Grades were done weeks ago, library books have been taken care of. I know my kid hates school and this isn’t ideal. It’s his idea, I’m not making him miss fun things with his friends.

Does it matter if I let my kid skip the last day of school?Yes it does!First: I’m not a parent, I just went to school myself. The last the day of the school, was always something special to me, when I went to school. Even the ones who hated school came. A few times (with different classes) we made a brunch, everyone brought something, afterwards we played some games and watched movies.Just ask yourself what is so important, that your child has to miss this. If the class is doing something special, he will never forget it. Does your child have friends in the class? If yes, he missed something, when something special happened, he can’t talk about it with the others (he’ll be the outsider).I still remember the last day of school in 4th grade. Well, it was my birthday, but I went anyway. We went to the forest and made a fire and roasted meat and played hide and seek in the forest. This are moments you don’t forget. At the last day of mandatory school (9th grade in Switzerland) it was my birthday too. I brought a cake, we watched a movie, in the evening we had a graduation “party” (more like a apero with a speech and some music).I once skipped a sports day, everyone asked me the day after, where I was. In High School I had this strange student in my class. He usually skipped trips, the last day of school or special events, Nobody liked him because of that behaviour. He always told us, he had the ok of his father.Yes, at the last day of school, the students don’t learn anything anymore. I think it shows respect to the teacher, when the student shows up. Maybe the people in the US have an other mentality to this kind of things. In my opinion you shouldn’t support this. Your child will think, oh it is ok to skip a boring day at school. What happens in the future, when he has to go to work, but doesn’t want to?I hope you get what i mean.
