Spot under my chin hair won't grow?
Its an odd shaped patch just under my chin where my beard just refuses to sprout from. It grows Peach Fuzz whereas the rest of my face grows like a Mountaineers face. I'm 24, and its been like this since I could grow hair, its just becoming more distinct and noticable when I grow my beard out Why is this? And what can I do to help?

Hair wont grow under my chin?
I am 15 and I have a full set of facial hair (under my neck, mustache, side burns, ex.) but this one spot under my chin to the left is bald. My sideburns connect with the hair under my chin on the right but not left. If anyone knows what this could mean it would be appreciated.

you are not the only one to have "bald" spots in their facial hair, its a common thing, most times it doesn't fill in so you just have to learn to live with it, if its under your chin, chances are if you grow a bread of any length you won't see the gap

I can grow facial hair only on the sides of my face. But on my neck there is only a small patch on my throat that has hair. But between my sideburns and the small patch on my throat. It's bald
Why doesn't hair grow under my chin?
The hair on my face grows at a normal pace. It has a full cover of my face, mid-check down. It grows everywhere except for one spot under my chin. It is to the point that if I haven't shaved for a while and someone looks at me straight on, the bald spot under my chin makes it look like I'm double chinned. I thing it might have been from football, with my chinstrap rubbing it so hard that hair can't grow there, but that's just an idea.

Fashion your facial hair in such a way that the bald spot isn't noticeable. You could try just sideburns instead.
My cat has a bald and bloody spot under his chin; what does this mean?
You should ask a vet to be sure, but I have had cats with similar-looking mouth lesions and they were one of two things. The first were called “rodent ulcers” even though they had absolutely nothing to do with rodents. They were in exactly the same spot as your cat’s, on the point of the chin in the pink mucous membrane, and the skin was absolutely bald around the fleshy area. They had a deeper indentation in the very center which is where the “rodent” part of the name came from. They were sort of like cold sores but not the same virus. As I recall, no treatment was done for it, no antibiotics, no steroids, no ointment that they would lick off. Vets may have something available for it now. That being said, it doesn’t mean you shouldn���t get it checked out, because it could be something else, like a tumor, or a projection of gum or bone, or a burn from “tasting” (dipping his chin in) your hot soup, or a chemical burn like from a cleaning product, or it could be an irritation from licking. It is an odd place for ringworm and would be strange to come up in only one day.I don’t know about the cat “sobbing.” But if ever you suspect there is anything causing pain anywhere on the cat, that is reason enough to go to the vet.The second similar-looking thing I have experienced with my cats is chin acne. It is cystic acne like a person would have, on the chin, and it is usually hard to see unless the fur comes off the cluster of pimples in a clump. Usually there are numerous bumps and spots, and if they are burst, they will bleed. Your kitten seems a lot younger than mine were when they had acne but you never know. Mine were treated with antibiotics and cleared up fine.I personally think it is either an ulcer or an irritated area where the fur has come off, maybe an area that has gone bald from rubbing while licking (rubbing on a window screen, licking the rug or a toy or their own belly, etc, — a lot of things are mysteriously attractive to 3 month old kittens), but again, I am not a vet; I am the one who asks the vet.PS I really can relate to your anxiety and wanting to avoid bad news about your “baby.” But if you wait until you know what all of the possibilities are before you take the cat to the vet, he will just have to be painful longer, and you may never get there…there are just too many diagnoses to rule out. I have moles on my face and my facial hair won't grow near them?
Moles are a member of the family of skin lesions known as nevi. A mole can be either subdermal (under the skin) or a pigmented growth on the skin, formed mostly of a type of cell known as a melanocyte. Some moles are able to grow hair (would you like to have hairy moles?) and others are not. Moles can be classified into at least 15 or more different categories which is to say that your question cannot be answered by simply stating 'you have a mole' because there are so very many different types with different properties. I don't know specifically what type of mole you have but my gut tells me that simple removal of the mole is no guarantee of subsequent hair growth. Why? Because in order to grow hair you need hair cells and having a mole there indicates that the area in question is without hair cells. Will removing the mole cause your face to create hair cells in the "bald spot?" Possibly it may but my gut feeling is it won't because the mole on your face is without hair now so that indicates the hair cells don't exist in that area. No hair cells, no hair. Speak to a dermatologist you may provide you a more definitive answer.
