Is Spring Breakers (2012) a work of art? Should it be in the same category as The Godfather as one of the best American movies of all time?
I wouldn’t say the godfather is one of the best, really good, but I don’t know if I would give that designation to any film. Whenever people start throwing the word Best around at something as subjective as film, I kind of tune them out. However an unbiased answer would be, yeah. It’s a very good film and I wouldn’t be surprised to hear someone who knows a lot about film and has good taste has placed Spring Breakers on their top 10, even above the god father and citizen Kane and all those attention getting “best films ever made” I feel like he captured the same think he and Larry Clark did with kids in the 90s. I have been around these people, I have done things like this. It wasn’t as fantastic and flashy as the film, but it felt like it when you were high and young in an exciting place far away from your home doing some extreme or dangerous things. I’d put my bet on Gummo, if I was betting on Korine, but the only film of his I was disappointed with in the least was Mister Lonely, and I still like it way better than a lot of other movies people just LOVE (Requiem for a dream :P ) I even liked Trash Humpers, so… Maybe this is a little bias.
Why do some people not like spring?
F spring. It's actually awful.I'll give you a couple of reasons why I think spring is stupid:Pollen everywhere. I grew up with horrendous allergies... drippy nose, coughing, watery eyes, aggravated asthma attacks, the works. Every time the flowers came out I basically wanted to go into hibernation or else I would hate myself.Flowers. I don't get it. Yea, maybe they look colourful. Sometimes. But eventually they just make a mess all over the floor, rot and look ugly. Not only that, they don't even smell that good. You know what flowers smell like to me? Plants. You know what else smells like plants? Every other plant at every other time of the year.Rain. Especially now that I live in Philadelphia and don't drive. F the rain man. I have to leave home carrying rain gear and sometimes I don't even use it all day long. It's stupid.Temperature. So by saying spring, we are essentially saying that we've just left winter behind, right? WRONG! It's not warm yet! Because if I leave home in shorts and a t-shirt, the second I step into the shade I feel as though I've been visited by Elsa from Frozen. And then I turn the corner and a light breeze brings me flashbacks of the snowstorm of the year. Meanwhile, everyone around me seems to dress as though they're on the beach in tanktops and bikinis. What the hell.Marketing. Bleh. I hate how America gets so excited about spring. Every company is advertising spring this and spring that. Meanwhile I'm walking down the street freezing and wiping my nose. Shut the hell up about spring, it doesn't exist.Spring Break. It's only a week guys, seriously. Relax. It's really not the greatest time of your life.But I realise these are all cultural tropes that Americans like. I'm just ragging on them because I'm coming from a different culture in Zimbabwe, where we don't have any transition states (there's only the hot and the cold season, no spring or autumn/fall).
Should I break with my girlfriend if she kissed some other guy during our relationship?
Let’s see. Should you change a flat tire before going on a road trip? Should you eat some food if you’re hungry? Should you apply for a job if you want to work? Should you go to the hospital if you’ve been shot?Listen. Some things in life are blatantly obvious. By staying with her you are allowing her to disrespect you. No girl on this planet gets to do that to you. Leave her. If she’s done it with in the past year then that is obviously a sign she has little regard for how you feel, no matter what she says or how much she decides to cry in front of you, just leave and find some other girl who’s 100% interested in you and only you. If you just want a fuck-buddy, and both of you agree, then so be it? But if you’re expecting a serious relationship and she’s running around kissing other guys then you may have a surprise coming to you.Now, if it’s been 2+ years and she’s been loyal/faithful and just told you because she wanted to be honest then open your heart and forgive her. Do not hold it against her and let it be in the past. If this is recent, within a year, leave her. The odds are against you in all ways.I have cheated and been cheated on. It’s fair to say that unless your IQ is below 80, then you know exactly why you decided to be unfaithful.
Techniques for driving a scooter for beginners?
Speed breakers/bumps: Slow down, relax your arms and stand up. It is usually best to keep a constant throttle over the obstacle instead of coasting or braking. Do not brake over or through the bump, this will cause your wheels to fall into the hole or make the bump much worse. Standing allows your legs to act as shock absorbers. If you stay seated you will get bucked off or thrown forward. You want to use the same technique on all large bumps in the road, including pot holes. Cornering: You want to lean with the bike. You want to do all of your braking before you enter the corner, coast into the corner and then accelerate as you are leaving the corner. Start: Start the bike up and have at least one foot on the ground. Engage the clutch. Click the bike into gear. Slowly release the clutch while giving the bike some throttle (about 1/4). As the bike starts to move, increase the throttle slightly and release the clutch all the way. Put both feet on the foot pegs. Once the engine reaches about 4-5K rpm's, shift to the next gear. Continue until you reach the speed limit. Stopping: When you want to come to a complete stop or even just slow down for a corner, the first thing you will do is let off on the throttle. Apply both front and rear brakes evenly, but not aggressively. Engage the clutch, downshift and release the clutch (you are using the engine to help brake). Continue until you have slowed down sufficiently or have come to a complete stop. Once stopped if you are going to be waiting for a long time. Put the bike into neutral and release the clutch - slowly to make sure you are actually in neutral.

Heck no! One day is far too early, regardless of the sincerity of her statement.Door #1. She really does just want a break. It was a publicity stunt. They put there relationship on display way too much. You can tell because they always made sure they were photographed kissing, going out and leaving hotels together. Beyonce and Jay-Z were together for nearly 4 years and paps never got a picture of them doing anything together because they were so private. But with Selena and Justin I believe that the whole thing was fake and he was just out with other girls because he could be. Once Selena became higher in celebrity status all of a sudden the relationship ended. And Justin got to shake off what was left of that bubblegum image he has been trying to get rid of.
What did your partner do that made you realize you were never that special to them?
This one makes me cringe a bit. It was Christmas time, we had just started dating.We showed up to a house we had rented for the week, and I bring some very personalized, although small, gifts.The next morning I gave him his gifts, and we had an amazing time that week; although I kept thinking, I’m sure he got me something, it’s not a big deal.I made a comment about it before we left.
