oh i forgot about my own..lol well i use Jurlique cleanser day and night, Olay SPF +15 as a moisturizer, Naturactor concealer, Maybelline pressed powder, Cover girl perfect blend eyeliner, Maybelline mascara(the one with two sides)-forgot name.. Sheseido eyelash curler, Dior five colour eyeshadow, Maybelline blush, and Carmex lip balm, and Covergirl wetslicks in 'peaches n gleam' thats all!!

My daughter+makeup=?
My 12 year old daughter wants to wear makeup. Right now I am letting her wear nude lipstick, and pink lipglosses. She wants to curl her eyelashes and wear mascara. She says majority of the girls in her school do and they do. I have seen them, sometimes wearing a full face of makeup. Her best friends don t wear makeup but but some of her not as close friends do, and she wants to.
What's something you find lacking in most cosmetics?
Good quality skincare treatment. Now, don’t get me wrong, you get some cosmetics made with this in mind, but actually most aren’t. They are still just designed to cover and hide flaws etc.I have discovered some brands in Korea, that actually IMPROVE the quality of my skin, when I am using them. They do more than just moisturise and SPF… they tighten pores, treat pigmentation, infuse good skin-loving ingredients all day long, hydrate and create a barrier of protection against sun and pollution etc….I don’t know why ALL the brands aren’t doing this yet. I find that so many well-known brands just barely manage to be hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic for my skin. But they can still feel heavy, and I feel refreshed or relieved to take it off at the end of the day. I would only use the good foreign brands if they were easily available and affordable in my country (South Africa), sadly they aren’t. So sometimes I have to settle, and I hate it, I hate wearing makeup that I can bear, instead of makeup I love. I hate worrying that it’s damaging my skin condition, when it could be improving it.This REALLY needs to be addressed. What is the point even, of covering your skin in makeup, if it will eventually make it worse…?TAKE NOTE Cosmetics providers, those of you who don’t catch up with this trend, will definitely be left in the dusty archives of brand history…Shout out to The Face Shop, Innisfree, Nature Republic and all the good/natural/organic Korean skincare brands that help me glow!!! <3 <3 <3
Do you find shopping for Foundation easy?
No, my least favorite thing to do.Between finding the right color and formula and the costs, ugh. I miss the days of trial sizes as well, that was useful.If I can find the right color, it’s usually the wrong formula or coverage or I’m allergic to it.If I can find one that works with my dry, sensitive, starting to get fine lines skin, the color is off.I usually end up layering a BB cream with a powder foundation to get the right coverage, moisture, and color, which is irksome because of time and effort. I have been known to skip it all together because of the hassle.I’ll probably try someplace like Ulta or Sephora again to see if they have anything that both my pocketbook and my skin like that matches my pale skin with the right undertones.For some women it is easier than others.
