States That Vote The Most Communist Party Of America

Are Americans allowed to register to vote under the Communist party?

Of course they are. We enjoy freedom of association in the USA. You may register with any political party you like.

Is it legal and possible to establish a communist party in America? What are the criteria for the American to establish their own political parties?

It's not only legal and possible, but, as Robert Lee points out, it exists. The nature of American free speech is that you can create a political party adocating whatever you want.  The crux of the matter is what's required for a) recognition and b) political influence. The idea of a 'political party' is a fairly fuzzy concept in America. There are the old and well-established parties, but you can get a bunch of friends together in your living room, decide on a political platform, and call yourself a party. Of course, that doesn't really get you anywhere. There are various levels at which political parties are treated like "real" parties. The big one is being included on official, printed ballots. That varies from state to state, but it often only requires a certain number of signatures on a petition. In local and state level elections, you'll often see a number of tiny parties with no hope of victory who are still listed on the ballots.  There are other things, such as being included in televised debates, which aren't governmentally controlled, it's usually up to the news networks. As a result, it's uncommon for parties that don't have significant support to be included. Of course, a party doesn't really have influence until they've put people in office. At the national level, there's only one member of Congress who isn't officially a Republican or Democrat, and he's an independent (though he identifies as a socialist). The problem with having a communist party in the US isn't that there are any rules against it, it's simply that so many Americans have such a negative connotation with communism that such a party is unlikely to gain any serious support.

Is the united states of America really a communist country and most of the citizens don't know it?

Im begining to wonder if we are really free anymore, Look at our money system, the IRS, the news media I mean Ron Paul is being shuned by the media and kept from the debates even though he has huge support tons of money and a solid ranking in Iowa caucus? why do we have Putin over at the white house so much? Is it because we actually might be working with the communist party more than most people realize? Americans are being lied too about everything from the health of our economy to who the presidential front runners are..the SPP Nafta The WAR everything its all one big lie.. what about the raid on norfed all this is happening in America what about the patriot act and the national ID card?

Why do some people want communism in the United States?

Well everybody has an opinion. I'm an ex-communist because I realized that communism is not a solution, it's just another problem. Instead of some people being rich, and some poor, communism makes everyone equally poor and miserable. Capitalism is not against poor people. Capitalism will always be good to you if you take advantage of its offerings and opportunities. "Capitalism and communism stand at opposite poles. Their essential difference is this: The communist, seeing the rich man and his fine home, says: 'No man should have so much.' The capitalist, seeing the same thing, says: 'All men should have as much.' "- Phelps Adams. Bill Gates isn't evil for having so much money, he's f*cking smart, he invested in the PC, the very thing that these so called communists spent money on to buy, to in turn spread hate towards people like Mr. Gates for having so much bank, which is made up of the money they spent on their PC, his investment, in the first place. And besides, money is not bad, it's what you do with it that can be bad. Most people who support communism have never lived in a communist country, and don't know what it's really like. They usually defend their argument with something about how "You're just afraid of another Stalinist type regime." But the fact of the matter is communism has never ever been good under any system. The thing with China, is again, lack of knowledge. China's gonna keep growing until like any other communist nation, their economy reach's it's maximum growth, they run out of everyone's money, and the government falls apart. Oh and their freedom and greatness? Must be why they have so many human rights issues. In the end, however, every government system will have people backing it saying how "It would work if... etc." You just have to decide what government you wanna put up with. Every government in the world sucks, you'd have to be a simpleton to think otherwise. Just as long as the government stays out of my business, I'm good. Communism will not bring true freedom, no government system is capable of such a thing. However, people are not ready to live in a truly free society.

What would happen if the Communist Party won a state election in the United States?

Questions like this one, of the form “what would happen if a highly unlikely political event happened?” rarely take into account that if said event were to happen, the political scene must be different than it is today. For instance, for the Communist Party to win a state election (which, from the context of the details of the question, you mean to win control of the state government, not just a single state election, like state court judge, or single legislative seat), the party would have to have significant support within the state. This is much different from the current political environment that it makes extrapolating from today’s climate very hard. If even one state was sufficiently friendly to the Communist Party that a plurality of voters supported its platform, then the country as a whole would be much more friendly to the Communist Party than it is now.So, under those circumstances, the Federal Government would most likely be much more friendly to the party’s policies than the current government, and there wouldn’t be a backlash against the state.By the time the CPUSA succeeded in controlling the government of a single state, it will likely have elected members to offices in several states as well as the Federal Government. It’s policies will be supported by a significant number of Americans, and outright cold-war-style opposition to it will likely be seen as outdated and regressive.

Is there freedom to vote for a communist or socialist party in the USA?

Sure, in fact, my own grandfather was the socialist candidate for mayor in New York City some hundred years ago. And Bernie Sanders, who ran second to Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, describes himself as a democratic socialist.Socialism in the US probably reached its peak with the candidacies of Eugene V. Debs, who at his best won something like 6% of the popular vote in 1920.During the McCarthy era at the height of the cold war, the Communist Party was made illegal on the grounds that Communism advocated the forcible overthrow of the government. However, the law was never really enforced, and when I was younger, Gus Hall was a perennial and insignificant candidate in presidential elections.Even during its heyday, the American Communist Party never got more than 0.26% of the vote, and after the beginning of the cold war and the revelations of Stalin’s purges, its membership dwindled to only a few thousand. The fall of the Soviet Union and the end of Communism as a going concern pretty much finished off the job, and these days there are very few self-avowed Marxists in the US.Socialism, on the other hand, is enjoying renewed popularity among the American young, although it’s hard to know how many believe in state socialism, in which the government owns the means of production; how many believe in more moderate forms of socialism, e.g., worker-owned companies; and how many are merely supporters of Scandinavian-style social democracy, in which business remains in private hands.

Can and will the communist party of the USA win the next 2020 election? If not, then when?

If you can separate communism as practiced by Russia and China from Socialism as put forth by Marx, than a version of the latter could happen. I doubt it would be in 2020.Marx probably got his socialist ideas from Jesus via Hegel and his end of history theory that ends with Jesus ruling on earth. For Marx he thought Socialism would start in Britian and spread. For Hegel, all people's had to have heard of Jesus for his grand finale.I think if Marx's vision to happen Capitalism, as practiced today, has spread and touch all people for the revolution to commence.I am very cynical about the human race right now so I doubt we have the maturity to create a socialist society and shed governments as unnecessary. But we can understand that one size doesn't fit all and all political and economic theories have a place in a mature and healthy society and just argue about which theory to apply to a specific problem that needs addressing. But communism in the way you seem to be thinking of it probably couldn't happen but we are ripe for a Dictatorship because of people that think it's what we need to cleanse America of enemies like Democrats and the News Media. Sound familiar? It should, it's Trump.

At what point what the Communist party USA most popular?

The Communist Party USA was traditionally 50% paid FBI agent/informers. In 1973 the NY Central Committee had two FBI high level informers, two House Subcommittee Internal Security ops with hidden cameras and tape recorders, and two New York State Police Counter Intelligence & Surveillance agents. All were paid employees of Central Committee of Moscow. A CPUSA money courier, a long term unregistered FBI agent, picked up yearly CPUSA budget at KGB USSR offices for free Daily World papers at all US libraries, Gus Hall & Henry Winston salaries, expenses of their US Presidential campaigns, NY Central Committee members wages, and the NY headquarters rent. KGB agents liked and trusted this FBI money courier. They allowed him total unsupervised access at KGB offices. In January 1973 two high level FBI informers infiltrated every university in the US. They were highly trusted. College students bragged about their deviance to impress them. FBI controlled the CPUSA preventing espionage, sabotage, riot incitement, civil disobedience, and insured organizational strict rules allowing only peaceful orderly lawful demonstrations. FBI informers were unaware they were spying on each other. The 1950s House Un-American Activities Committee and the I Led Three Lives TV show's portrayal of CPUSA illegal operations were 100% untruthful libelous slander. CPUSA yearly budgets were financed by USSR, an enemy of the United States, until the Cold War ended.

Has a Communist Party ever won a free and fair election?

Yes, but in China, democracy is practiced at the village(town/district) level. Above that, it is based on meritocracy. That’s why China gets better political officials than the US. What makes you think that free and fair elections are working when only about 50% of voters turn out, and many voters are illiterate about candidates, their backgrounds, and their abilities? What makes you think free and fair elections are held like in the US? The two political parties choose candidates as selected/elected by party members. Those candidates run for office. At the presidential level, it is not by popular vote, but by the electoral college. Votes are tallied by districts that sometimes are tainted by gerrymandering, vote denial, and voter suppression.“My Beijing neighborhood committee and town hall are constantly putting up announcements, inviting people of a certain grouping (renters, homeowners, over 70, women under 40, those with or without medical insurance, retirees, etc.), to answer surveys. The CPC is the world’s biggest pollster for a reason. Baba Beijing wants to honor its Heavenly Mandate and keep society harmonious and cooperative. China’s democratic dictatorship of the people is highly engaged at the day-to-day, citizen-on-the-street level. I find it much, much more responsive and democratic than the the travesty dog and pony shows acted out in the West, and I mean that seriously. I know, because I live in a middle class Chinese community and talk to them all the time. Jeff J. Brown”IS THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT POPULAR?It seems your commentary to demean Communists has a few holes. What you see today is a disappearance of pure Communism. Both communist and democratic countries seem to be merging towards a socialist capitalist state, with the Nordic states taking the lead in popularity as a way to govern.Nordic model - WikipediaWhether you realize it or not, that is where the US is headed. Our current system of governance is not working well. Trump is an aberration caused by the defects in democracy. The blowback in the mid-term elections in November is a good indicator of that, in spite of the gerrymandering and voter suppression. Our capitalist model is broken. Oligarchs and corporate interests have shanghaied our democracy because of voter ambivalence and political lackeys being bought off by these interests. We are headed towards the few ultra-rich and majority serfs. The seeds of Communism began in such a setting.History and Background
