Stomach Bug No Appetite Bubbling Stomach Been 6 Days Now

What are some ways to cure my stomach always making loud noises when I'm not hungry.?

Hmm. Thanks for the A2A.There are 4 good answers already, and the only one i didn't upvote is probably the most effective short-term solution to the problem asked about. The other three (dealing with probiotics) are useful for promoting general gut health.Let's start with examining the question: "What are some ways to cure my stomach always making loud noises when I'm not hungry.?"Well, for starters, it's not usually the stomach that is making the noises most people will notice, and if it's legitimately described as 'loud' then it is definitely not the stomach. From extensive personal experience and reading, i would suggest that you change your approach to the issue. Instead of tying to eliminate the noises, (for which Niko's answer of peanut butter or Hot Pockets should work), you would do much better to learn to understand your gut microbiome. You, like all humans outside of sterile chambers for the immune-compromised, rely on a complex assembly of little critters to do a lot of your 'dirty work' for you. They break stuff down, protect you, and if their environment gets too much gas (because they're flatulent little beasties) they scream for help. Figuratively. It's actually the sink drain of your intestine that's making that potentially embarrassing burbling noise as your friendly bacteria exhalations bubble along. So instead of fighting the gas, you could pay attention or even document when it happens and with which circumstances. In addition to the 'what am i eating' category, which you'll refer back to once the noises start, you may wish to keep a simple log of social situations, since many gut and gut-brain symptoms can be traced to these factors as well, and they are Very worthwhile to understand. What leaves your gut wound tightly? What allows it to relax (and make noise consistent with breath)? What sends your gut into a roiling panic mode where it makes noise even while you tense your abdomen and hold your breath?Or you could just shut the gut up with some heavy food to prevent gas movement and to feed the temporarily overpopulated beasts who were beginning to reduce their numbers by eating each other. Your choice.

Extreme bloating and stomach discomfort?

2 days ago, I was having sulfuric/egg-like burps with minor stomach bloating.

Today, my stomach is absolutely huge. I look extremely pregnant (I'm not, though) and I feel like there is a giant ball of gas inside me. I can't go to school because of this and I can barely walk without having to clutch my stomach.

I've already taken pepto-bismol but the problem persists. What's wrong?!

Stomach bug? No appetite, bubbling stomach, been 6 days now?

I woke up sunday morning (28th july) with bad trapped wind, so I had to go toilet and had Di, went home and felt okish for the rest of the day, next day I had completely lost my appetite, and my stomach felt like it was quivering/shaking constantly, I didnt eat anything for the next three days as I really didnt want food at all, and because my stomach was still bubbling and shaking, in the last 6 days ive been sick twice and have gone very thin, almost lost 12 pounds in weight, and seem to feel alot worse in the mornings than I do in the evenings. Spoke to nurse who said most likely a stomach bug, but its been 6 days now, and Im still waking up with a bubbling stomach, which is making me feel anxious and un-easy. My stools still arnt as hard as they should be (sorry if TMI) :( and I still havent got an appetite, im trying to eat food but its difficult, and im drinking plenty of water.

Stomach cramps for over a week, what could be wrong with me?

Since last wednesday I have had stomach cramps on and off. It started in my lower abdomen and pelvic area. The third day I heard gurgling noises in my lower abdomen. The next couple days it was on and off just feeling like menstrual cramps, or as if I had to use the rest room. (which I was still going #2, just wasn't producing a lot).
Well yesterday I started to feel more ill, so I took laxatives and whilst I was waiting for its results I began to get a slight fever, and chills. After I started going a few times, I started to feel better. But of course, the pain is still there- on and off. Its now located between the ribs in my upper abdomen, more towards the left side. but, the pain will still sometimes move to my lower left abdomen/pelvic region. I also seem to get heartburn, and when i am able to (sometimes difficult) pass gas or belch it helps relieve the feeling.

what might it be?

thanks!

Is vomiting and stomach pain an early sign of HIV infection within a week after sex?

Q: Is vomiting and stomach pain an early sign of HIV infection within a week after sex? It’s IMO unlikely, because it is so soon, and these are pretty strong symptoms of something acutely wrong (but not necessarily seriously wrong) with your gastrointestinal tract. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services HIV symptoms can arrive as early as 2 weeks after exposure, and as late as three months post-infection. Some people never experience any early symptoms at all. So, just 1 week seems a little early, and these symptoms seem a little strong.During the first stage of HIV, most people who contract the illness experience common flu-like symptoms that are hard to distinguish from a more general flu or a gastrointestinal or respiratory infection. For example, one or more of these symptoms are common with HIV:headachefevertirednessmuscle and joint painswollen lymph nodessore throatulcers in the mouth or on the genitalsnight sweatsdiarrheaDiarrhea is the most common symptom with HIV-infected people who have GI symptoms. Vomiting and stomach pain tend to be symptoms of opportunistic gastrointestinal infection which is more likely to happen with HIV that has progressed much further. Additionally, if you do have HIV, early symptoms will pass just like they would with a stomach flu, and you’re none the wiser for it. You can go for years without any further symptoms and feel perfectly fine, so the only way to know is to get tested. The sooner you find out, the better you can tackle the illness. If you have good reason to believe you might have been infected, go see a doctor knowledgeable in the field and give them all the pertinent details. This isn’t something to leave to advice from total strangers without medical credentials on Quora. Especially since if you have HIV, this stage is more contagious. Don’t have any further sex without protection with people whose sexual history you don’t know. Even though HIV is no longer a certain death sentence, it is seriously not worth exposing yourself to it.For your own peace of mind, please consider getting tested regularly. Getting a scare is nothing compared to actually contracting HIV; you’ll want to do what you can to prevent that.HIV Basics | HIV/AIDS | CDC

Does Red Bull make your stomach growl?

Yes. Don't drink those "energy" drinks. They are bad for you. It isn't hunger you are feeling (unless you haven't eaten in the last two days of course), it's you stomach trying to deal with all the junk in those drinks. They are very acidic and they mess up your body's pH. If you need energy, try drinking more milk and eating foods rich in protein like meat, eggs and cheese. You get more long lasting energy from eating protein than you will from caffene and all those "herbal sources" they put in energy drinks. It's the b vitamins in protein that give you a real energy boost.

Sharp stomach pain every 10 to 20 minutes that lasts 5-10 seconds?

sounds like gas to me - gas has a way of collecting in a large bubble and causing the gut to try an push it forward and expel it - but gas bubbles can slip around and keep the gut busy trying to move it out properly = cramps - try gas X - generic label stuff is fine - it changes the surface of gas bubbles so they can only form small ones which won't cause the cramps - great stuff, stays in the gut won't get absorbed into the body - can't hurt you a bit

Stomach flu or hiv symptoms?

I think I might of had the stomach flu, but worried it might be hiv. One night I had some Ice cream and some food and in the middle of the night while sleeping threw up a little in my mouth, which I found odd. 2 days later I started losing appetite of food, then the day after my stomach and chest hurt like hell, I felt like I was dieing, then I threw up two times in a row in the bathroom after work and just had stomach pains. I had pains in my body, and I was always tired and nauseous I had burning in the center of my chest and had an acidic taste in my mouth, so I took tums and milk of magnesia. My stomach was really bloated too. I did not have diareaha until like day 3-4 and it was barley any poop even after I started to eat a little more food. The poop was greyish yellow. I havent thrown up since the second day and today is day 6 or 7 of the stomach virus symptoms. Now I just have gas and a little weird feeling in my stomach, tingling in my throat, and a headache here and there, I have my appetite back and a lot more energy, and the poop is almost turning into solid, and has gotten the brown back in it. My stomach has ben gurgling off and on since the symptoms started.

I have NOT had skin rashes, severe throat pain, or fever, which makes me believe that I might not have hiv. I have scheduled a std screening, but the doctor told me to wait a week or so, so I have it at the 3 month period from my last screening.

I work for a company where I clear drains in houses, and I think if I got the stomach virus that way.

So my question is , do you think I have the stomach virus, or hiv? How much pain would the early symptoms of hiv be? How long will the stomach virus last?
