hi i have this pretty bad dry cough, so decide to take cough medicine and right after i drink it i have this very painful upper stomach ache and was in a curled position before it was painful and my lower back area was cramp too and couldn't stand straight.

i run to the bathroom to throw up and right after i throw up the pain was gone what could it be. this happen every time i drink cough syrup.

and i just ate my dinner before drinking the medicine.

I am just getting over a flu/cold virus. I work at a job where you can't call in sick, so for 2 weeks I lived on Dayquil, Theraflu.
