Stomach Pain Burning Sensation Near Abdomen Area

Warm burning sensation in my lower right abdominal area.?

Agree with above, appendicitis is a possiblity for your belly symptoms. There are other abdominal pathologies too that can produce similar symptoms (crohn's, ulcerative colitis etc). Generally there are some bowel symptoms too (diarrhea, blood in the stool etc but not must).

It is a good idea to go to ER and get it checked rather than delay. My gut feeling is you should be ok even if you wait till morning and get it checked by your clinic Dr. But why to take a chance?

Not sure what that voice was, may be you are under lot of stress and fear due to your belly symptom, that might have precpitated the voice. If the voice happened or happens frequently then it needs to be evaluatd too.

All the Best!

Weird burning sensation is stomach..?

By the sound of it it highly suggestive of a duodenal ulcer.

Go to a gastroenterologist. He will probably recommend a upper GI endoscopy to make sure the mucosa is intact. There is a chance that some mucosal erosions or a duodenal ulcer may be found.

Don't worry too much. Its a common condition. A 3-4 week course of antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors as recommended by your doctor will ensure that this never happens again, though you will feel relief as early as 3-4 days of starting the treatment.

What you can do to prevent it is:

1. Avoid excessively spicy food.
2. Avoid drinking alcohol on an empty stomach.
3. Regular and timely meals. Don't skip meals.
4. Chill out! Stress does contribute to this condition.

Does an enema cause abdominal pains/burning?

My goodness - you are at the "last resort stage" of addressing this problem and, unless you're 80, I suggest you deal with this differently as you will cause permanent damage to your gastro-intestinal system by preventing the natural, peristalsis action of your body.
You will not die (but may be uncomfortable) if you don't have a b.m. for 4 days. On Day 1 - take a stool softener; Day 2 take a regular Senokot - not Senokot-S or take 1/2 dose of Miralax which has, recently, been taken off the prescription drug list so is an OTC item. Day 3, another stool softener.
Meanwhile, add more fibre to your diet - don't go overboard as you may have the opposite problem. You, also, need to incoporate some form of exercise into your lifestyle - a morning walk of a few miles will help. Your goal must be to take a laxative, only, once in a while as, seriously, you will be in Big Trouble otherwise. Enemas, if necessary, are usually reserved for use prior to surgery. See link for valuable information.
P. S. The pain you're having is nothing when compared with having a baby or the pain I live with due to falling off a ladder 5 yrs. ago - totally wrecked both ankles and feet, one knee, and one shoulder so, suck up, chin out and get on with living your life - don't let your b.m's become an obsession.

Severe sharp stabbing pain in abdomen?

See your health care provider as soon as possible. Abdominal pain can be a sign of a serious condition. Fortunately, minor causes are much more frequent. Location of the pain can help in suggesting the cause.

Appendix pain usually in the right lower quarter of the abdomen.
Diverticulitis usually hurts in the left lower quarter of the abdomen.
Kidney pain, the back
Gallbladder, the right upper quarter.
Stomach, the upper abdomen.
Bladder or female organs, the lower areas.

Exceptions to these rules do occur.
Pain from hollow organs-such as the bowel or gallbladder-tends to be intermittent and resembles gas pain or colic. Pain from solid organs-kidneys, spleen, liver-tends to be more constant. Stomach ulcers tend to create burning pain in the upper abdomen which usually gets better after a meal or dose of antacid. There are exceptions to these rules as well. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

What's the deal with my abdominal pains?

about three days ago, my throat had swollen up and my body hurt like i had a mild case of flu. after taking tylenol cold and flu and some theraflus, the congestion and sore throat went away. but now i am left with severe abdominal pain. every five minutes or so, it feels as if something is writhing in my stomach and it burns for about 5 seconds and then goes away. when the pain isn't doing this, it just feels like there's a knot in my stomach. i have a hard time eating because i have no appetite and my bowels are working normally. i have this pain for a day and a half now.

what i'm thinking is that may have to do with a slight overdose of acetaminophen from the tylenol and theraflu. i haven't had either since yesterday around noon. so it's been about 24 hours. i'm also drinking a lot of cranberry juice to help filter out my kidneys as they've been hurting as well.

but the pain is still present.
