Drinking coke/soda on an empty stomach pains me?
If you're hungry, then you're stomach is most likely empty. If your stomach is empty, then the only thing in it is stomach acid. Sodas are very very acidic and only add more acid to your empty stomach. The excess of acids rolling around in your stomach upset the lining, causing cramps and/or nausea. Try to eat before or during having a soda and dont drink it too fast (the carbonated bubbles also add to the acidic effect and by not gulping the soda down, you reduce the bubble effect). Edit: Try taking an antacid or anti-gas medication. The antacid helps nuetralize the acid in your stomach and calm the negative effects. If you dont have an antacid, mix one teaspoon baking soda in 4 oz of warm water. No, it wont taste good, but it'll work. You'll probably burp a lot...this is your body getting rid of the gas caused by the carbonation.
Stomach pains with mixed drinks?
ok guys ive noticed i get a INTENSE pain in my stomach whenever i drink sugary mixed drinks or mix sodas or sometging sweet with vodka. It cant be the alcohol because i can drink a 6 pack of beer and be fine. Tonight i mixed some vodka and a bit of sundrop and experience this pain for a good 15-20 minutes.. Do you guys think its the sugar or what? and why?
Stomach pain 2 days after drinking?
2 days ago i drank blueberry vodka, 7up, and monster mixed together. had alot of it. usually i just have rot gutt the next days. this is a mix between throwing up and starvation feeling. like somone is squishing my stomach in their hand. hurts :( didn't know if anyone knows what this is? i don't have health insurance so i thought i'd ask before a trip to the hospital. thanks for your help :D

Could drinking bleach cause lifelong stomach pain? A friend of mine drank bleach 5 years ago. She told me that everyday for the past 5 years she's had intense stomach pains when awake. I don't understand why after 5 years she's had pain. Why do I get upper stomach pains when I drink alcoholic drinks with a high sugar content?
Every time I drink alcohol with a high sugar content (UV Blue, Smirnoff Ice, etc.) I get horrible pains in my upper stomach and a dull throbbing in my shoulders. It's not something that has just happened, it's been going on for about 3 or 4 years. I'm 20 and it only seems to be getting worse, I also notice a rise in body temperature and my face turns a bright shade of red. It typically only takes one mixed drink of UV Blue or two wine coolers for the pain to begin and the pain lasts for about 10 to 15 minutes. I'm 5'2, 220 pounds, female, with pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. I eat candy and drink soda with no problem. Its only alcoholic drinks with high sugar that cause the pain.
Stomach aches while drinking alcohol?
I always get weird stomach aches while I'm drinking on the weekends..I drink budlight and by the time I'm on my 4 I get a bad stomach ache. I eat before, but I don't know why they are still coming..Really it ruins my night..what should I do?
My stomach burns a lot every time I drink alcohol. What could be a solution to making it stop?

Does anyone else get bad stomach pains from drinking four loko?
I can drink large amounts of hard liquor with no stomach pain whatsoever, but if I have just one four loko I'll be keeling over. Does four loko do this to anyone else? Colt 45 blast (just like four loko) does the same thing.
