Problems with my StraightTalk LG 900G phone.?
So I used to have my own StraightTalk phone from WalMart. I switched to a Cricket plan and gave my old phone to my aunt. Now I'd like to switch back to StraightTalk but I gave my phone away. So my mom gave me her StraightTalk phone, an LG 900G. She hasn't had airtime on it since April 2012 but I figured all I had to do was go buy a StraightTalk card and add airtime. However, there is something up with this phone. The date and time are completely wrong, it shows no service at all, and it won't let me add my airtime! I go to the Prepaid menu to put in the PIN number and it sits for about 5 minutes and then says 'service unavailable, try later'. I figured maybe I had to reactivate the phone since it hadn't been used in forever, but when I call to reactivate it, it says this phone number is not connected to a StraightTalk phone. HELP! I will be extremely ticked if I spent $30 on a phone card for nothing.
Straight talk activation problems?
Ok. I bought a new Straight talk phone from Walmart on Sunday night. I ported my number for Tracfrone to Straight Talk. After 12 hours my old phone had already quit working and the Straight talk phone was not working.I called customer service and spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them on Monday. Most of that time I was on hold. They told me that my number was ported successfully and that my phone is active and I should be able to make and recieve calls. MY PHONE IS NOT ACTIVE. IT STILL SAYS ACTIVATION REQUIRED ON THE SCREEN. I have multiple text messages and multiple voice mails. I can not check them to see who they are from. When I try to do so it says activation is required. The only thing I can do on the phone is add contacts. Anything else I try to do I get the activation required message. Straight talk customer service told me to wait 24 hours for activation. Tuesday I contacted them through their facebook page on their discussion board. After about 3 hours of corresponding with them on facebook, they asked me for a landline number and called me. I was on the phone with them about an 1 1/2 hours when they called me. Once again I spent most of the time on hold. They told me that my phone should be active and that their records showed that my phone was activated and programmed properly. However, my phone still shows activation required. They suppossedly created a trouble ticket and told me to wait ANOTHER 24 hours to see if it works and if it doesn't to call them back. I feel like I am getting the run around from their customer service department and no results. I paid $40 to get the phone and the airtime card was $45. I still am unable to use my new phone. Does anyone know of any steps I can take to remedy this situation and maybe get to talk to someone who can actually speak ENGLISH well so it can be fixed. I am extremely angry that they are doing nothing. And I'm ready to file a complaint with the Better Buisness Bureau. If anyone has any input on this situation I would love to hear it. The phone I purchased was the Samsung T255G camera phone and the $45 unlimited airtime card. Thanks!
Is straight Talk Cell Phone service any good?
I'm on T-mobile prepaid . I have been on it for over 3 years and it seems like the best thing going ,but I noticed Straight Talk has better coverage but Phones are not as good and I'm wondering about customer service and number porting . Some people have been having problems from what I could find so far on the net. Couldn't find much though . Please help. Thanks. Stephen

It is possibly due to the weather or the towers are being serviced. If you do not have service on your phone tomorrow call Straight Talk and ask them what is up. Before you call turn your phone off and back on. This will reset your phone. If that does not work, remove your battery and put it back in, this is another way to reset your phone. Why won't my Samsung Straight talk phone let me on Facebook?
My solution: In my mobile browser, I had previously had facebook and a friend's profile bookmarked and accessible with hotkeys. The facebook hotkey brought up the "unsupported content type." But it would let me go to my friend's profile. I then scrolled to the bottom, clicked "view simplified site," and could get to my home page from there. So do this: try typing in a friend's profiles URL in the "go to URL" option from the browser menu. If that works, scroll to the bottom, click "view simplified site," save it as a bookmark, and do with it what you will. (Updating your status every five seconds, pretending it's twitter, stalk strangers, excessive hashtagging, etc. TBH. #whateverittakestogethiddenfrompeoples'n... Peace. Love. & Texas.
How do I reset my Straight Talk phone that says "Service Disabled"?
Calling customer service is the only way. Also try calling on low volume hours, not not "business hours" easier said then done, phones are needed right now, but yes only way is to call them. I have called them a few times over the months for non problem issues and never waited more then 3-5 minutes, sorry for your luck! It should not take but more then a minute once you get connected. You messed with the code entry mode didnt you? Bad move, dont do it!
