How can I treat a bump on my lingual frenulum?

What you describe is probably a canker sore, a fluid filled point of infection for some reason more common in teenagers than in kids and adults. You can check several methods of dealing with them online but normally they will go away by themselves, usually from breaking and draining from the abrasive effects of eating food. You could break them yourself or use a cotton swab to wipe them with a medical disinfectant like hydrogen peroxide.

How can you treat an infection in your frenulum?

Since that would be a fairly strange place to get an infection that lasted very long at all, I would think you would want to go see a doctor and get it figured out. The mouth heals awfully well and the skin and the mouth is awfully thin.If you have a collection of pus there, the treatment is what we used to refer to is Bard-Parker therapy. Bard-Parker is a company that makes surgical blades, you open the pus pocket up and let out the evil spirits. If there is a mass or tenderness in that area I would be more concerned that you have something going well on with the salivary glands. There are two salivary glands under the tongue. Well actually, there are many many salivary glands but you have two big ones under the tongue and they will get plugged up sometimes. You can also get such nasty illnesses as oral cancers and tuberculosis and stones in the tissue.I know that people like to ask general educational questions here but really, you need to go see a doctor or dentist to get this looked at. I have to say in my 35 years I don't think I've ever seen an actual infection in the frenulum. I have, however, seen salivary stones, tumors in the mouth, abscessed teeth pointing into the mouth and other such nastiness.

How do I deal with swollen veins under my tongue?

Veins under the tongue normally look really big in the mirror because lifting the tongue to look under it causes the veins to be compressed and blood pools in them. If you do not feel the swellings when your tongue is in the normal position, it is not a problem. If you ARE feeling swellings under your tongue, it is more likely to be lymph nodes, not the veins. Lymph nodes will swell when there is infection in the mouth area. If you feel sick, have a fever, and the nodes are painful you should see a doctor. Likewise if only one node is swollen, feels hard and irregular and you are a smoker or middle aged person, you should go to the doctor even if you don’t feel bad because cancer can present like that.

Circumcision(head is black)?

So i got a circumcision today and everything has been alright until a hour ago when i started feeling some light pain so i checked how it looked and my glans is all black/blue like literally. I can only see the head(glans) and its dark but the place where the frenulum was at is soooooo black/dark and is formed like a bubble, i have a bandage on and it hurts. But its bearable, i just wanted to know if this is normal? My balls are also blue kind of black but lighter. And my penis where the circumcision was done is starting to get a worse of a pain and it really starts to hurt more and more. Im actually very stressed about this. Can i go to sleep without worring about this?

Tongue web piercing complications! Help?

I got my tongue web pierced about four months ago. Everything was going fine, I cleaned the piercing and did not play or do anything to irritate it, and I continue to take care of this piercing to this day.
Shortly after I got it pierced a small bump appeared on one side of the jewelry. It was not painful and did not grow any larger, and my piercer said bumps such as those are normal and tend to happen with this type of piercing.
However, about two weeks ago I noticed that the other side of the piercing (which did not have any bumps) suddenly had one that pretty much came in overnight. It was red and larger than the other one, and that side of the piercing was a little tender if I did things like point my tongue to the roof of my mouth. It's gone down a little bit since then and it's no longer painful but it still worries me.
I'm sure it's not infected but still, are these bumps normal? How can I get them to go away or at least get them to get smaller or even prevent other ones from coming in the future?

I've attached a few photos to help you guys see what I'm talking about better. The white stuff that is on the balls of the jewelry is mouth junk, which I clean/scrape off every few days, and is completely normal. The white stuff that's on the bumps, however, are not plague and I'm not sure what they are.

Thanks :]

I'm looking for specific directions on how to treat them, not links to other medical websites that still don't answer it.

-The inside of anybody's mouth isn't the most aesthetically pleasing area. So I'm sorry if the pictures are strange.

Also, this isn't about your personal opinion of what I do to my body. Your views on this are yours, and I respect them so please be kind and respect my choices - as they don't affect you personally in the slightest. :]

Is it worth calling CPS??!!! HELP!?

Hey just a little advice about life. The system sucks. For example, my coworker has grand children. Her son is divorced and his ex wife has a new boyfriend. The son of my coworker noticed some "suspicious bruising" and told a friend about it. The friend called cps. What happened next? The children, all 3, were taken away from the mother AND the father. The grandmother (my coworker) is now having to fight to get her grand children out of the shelter. She said that it could take up to two years for either of the parents to get the children back. So in this case, the children didn't go to the other parent, and come to find out, the "linear bruising" of the 9 year old, (as told by the 9 year old himself) was climbing up the bunk bed and might of hit it on the frame. I would not call cps unless there is significant evidence of neglect. In this case, I would have the father tell the mother that he needs to be informed of anytime the child needs a sitter and to call him right away because a 12 year old has no business watching the 2 year old anymore, there's too many incidences and he's will not stand for it.
