Strangest Experience Of Your Life Unexplainable By Science Personal Or At Work

Have you ever experienced something you can't explain?

From time to time I get the feeling of impending doom. I have learned to trust this feeling and to search for what is about to happen over the years. One night in high school my best friend and I decided to sleep over at our friend’s house so that we could stay out later than our parents would allow. That night I started to have the feeling of impending doom. If you have never had that feeling before, the best way I can describe it is having anxiety about something bad that might happen for no reason at all. While we were picking up food through a drive-thru I told my friend how I was feeling. She told me she was feeling the same way so we decided that it would be best to return to our friend’s house before something really bad happened. At around 4:30AM, I woke up to my friend telling me to wake up and felt the floor under me shaking and the house rattling. It was 1994, we were just a few miles from Northridge, CA. A 6.7 M earthquake happened that night. Thankfully we were okay and no one got hurt.Another time for weeks I felt impending doom. It was not until I saw a photo of a family member flash up on my computer’s screen saver that the feeling went away. A week later I found out that family member tried to commit suicide. I think it was my family on the otherside reaching out to me to warn me to help him.So now whenever I have that feeling it really scares me because more often than not something bad IS going to happen. I have to be cautious and seek out signs about what might happen.Recently I had the feeling of impending doom again for a few month and it was the worst case I ever felt. It went away as soon as I found out my cousin was just released after being hospitalized in the ICU for pneumonia.I over heard another friend tell my mom she has learned to listen to me when I warn her about things, because they most often come true. I guess I am a bit psychic.

Have you had any scary experiences/incidents occur to you? How?

My entire life has been a series of "scary experiences/incidents". While most people can recount one or two interesting personal accounts of reason and science defying experiences, I've had so many from childhood onward that I've lost count of the first hand stories I can tell. It's important to note, that I am highly intelligent, well read in the sciences and a self-confessed hard-core rationalist. I don't believe in ghosts. Yet I've been plagued by such experiences my entire life. I'm a true dual, left AND right brained person. I work equally well with logic and programming as I have with art and design. Various people have explained to me over many years that I draw spirits to myself due to my natural awareness of them. I have a natural empathy. I strive to dismiss such nonsense but I still seem to manifest activities which are seen by multiple witnesses as moving objects etc. As a rationalist I always strive to find the mundane explanations in everything. But I've seen far too many things which defy conventional explanations that I'm forced to simply conclude that science has a lot of gaps to fill in with regard to its understanding of nature and the universe. For the believers, I've seen "shadow people", numerous large and small physical objects move contrary to reasonable scientific explanations, and with other witnesses observing, many clearly whispered voices in my ear and my wife's ear, etc. Yet I still refuse to make paranormal conclusions about any of it. Of course, because to make any rational conclusions about such things, we need to be able to capture, measure and test the phenomena with repeatable experiments. First hand, subjective experiences are not scientifically valid.I believe everyone experiences amazing and unusual things, even the "religious and profound". what I question is peoples' conclusions about those experiences. The human brain is a powerful and tricky thing.

Ghost encounters anyone??(or unexplained situations???)?

Well for me,I've had several over my life time,I've been visited by some close family members who have passed on and I've lived in two homes where the people had committed suicide and their spirits remained behind and they made their presences known to me.I also had an encounter with a negative entity in a friends home,it physically grabbed both of my ankles and pulled me towards it when I was in bed,it turns out that a man had shot and killed his little girl in the bedroom that I was in and then he turned the rifle on himself as well. This was by far my most scariest experience of all.My thoughts are that we live in the physical world but a spiritual world exists as well.Maybe one day you will get to personally experience this for yourself.Tomb Raider.

Does anyone else think that life/reality/everything is so incredibly strange?

If so, what stuff do you feel?

Sometimes I snap out of my daily routine thoughts and feel that life is incredibly weird. It's hard to explain, but don't you think that life is so unexplainable? Not just life in earth, but the presence of anything in the entire universe. No matter how much scientists discover things about our world, there will still be some unexplainable things, we will never know the fundamental reason behind reality. Maybe it's because there is no answer that will satisfy me.

The fact that there is anything at all in the universe is strange to me, it seems so much simpler, and easier, if there was nothing at all. No time, no matter, no conscious life that can think, nothing. It seems odd that while the universe seems so strange and complex, many people often don't think about this stuff, and they get really bored with their lives.

How is there anything at all? What is the difference between past, present and future? Is everything in the history of the universe already predictable?
