Stress Anxiety Depression Ocd

Natural remedies for OCD / Anxiety / Depression?

It's important not to kid yourself into thinking there are some magic supplements, vitamins or foods that are going to cure or drastically improve OCD.

Though I would suggest trying to avoid food and drink with high sugar content and/or caffiene. These will buzz you up and bring you down. It's better to keeps your levels balanced. That’s not to say you have to completely avoid them but some moderation is worth bearing in mind.

I think regular exercise and eating healthily (without getting too obsessive about it) are of greater benefit. As well as getting out as much as you can, pursuing interests and generally keeping yourself more occupied. Which will give you better life balance.

Does obesity cause depression, anxiety, and stress?

Yes to all. Any unhealthful condition can cause stress, anxiety and depression just based on the quality of life and resulting situations (i.e. lack of exercise perhaps, limited dating life, etc.) OCD is a spin-off of anxiety in a way because it is sympotamtic of a need to control surrounding and situations to cope with the stress.

Losing weight and exercising both go hand in hand with better self image and overall mental health.

What is the best Allopathy medicine for anxiety and depression?

I was officially diagnosed with anxiety disorder and depression in 2013, during my student days at IIT Bombay. This is what my psychiatrist at the IIT Hospital prescribed for me:Pexep (10 mg) (Pexep CR (Paroxetine) - United Pharmacies)Lonazep (0.25 mg) (Mental Health Information: Uses and side effects of Lonazep tablets)I am attaching a picture of the prescription here:At this point, I would also like to add that medicine alone will not help you overcome depression. I speak from experience. Go for regular professional psychiatric counseling and DO NOT take any medicines without prior approval from a professional. There can be adverse or side effects. Also, make up your mind to get out of depression and be happy again. It is possible only if YOU will it.

Can depression and anxiety cause OCD-like symptoms?

YesOCD is part od depression.Depression is a chronic illness that do not have a cure. But can be treated and controlled.Depression is a weakness in some glands of your brain and the limbic system. They are linked with your emotions and affect you ability to feel good and energy.I wold like to say that people who born without the predisposition will never get Depression, but is possible to weaken you body with an strong inflammation that affect your limbic system or cancer.Depression comes with a light delusional state that usually comes with fear of being socially reject, send to a mental institution, abandoned by the loved ones and that depression will disappear reaching a goal, like a dream job and launch a book. If a people with depression feel to be crazy can have sure, because believe in those kind of thing is madness.Everybody who fight for a goal in the hope to magically vanish the depression jut end guilt for trowing so much time and effort in a meaningless pursuit.Exercises and eating properly can weak a lot the symptoms, also with the right medication can totally disappear. Also stay away from anything who trigger the depression. Many people overcome depression living in a controlled environment without nothing to trigger. Also you can train your mind to not care and have happy thoughts.Exercises, heath food, environment without triggers, train your mind and medicines. That weak the symptoms and whit a lot of people end for good. Some people dont end, but those are the ones who need the most. But take care, because can come back.

How was psychological disorders (depression, anxiety, stress, ocd, ptsd) treated in ancient times?

When I was diagnosed with depression, I asked my parnets if anyone else in the family had suffered from it (As there is usually a genetic link).  They said no.  I later found out about a Great-Aunt who went from being out-going and bubbly to very introverted and quiet for about two years before recovering and becoming more herself.  I believe this Aunt suffered from depression, it just wasn't understood.  It must have been horriable for the poor woman.  She would not have been given any medical treatment.  It seems that her family brought her for visits to other close family members to 'bring her out of herself'.  Something which from my own knowledge must have been very difficult for her.  But for the main they looked after her physical needs until she recovered sufficantly to be able to look after herself.  I think in the past that those with family willing and able to support them, would have had some chance of a decent life.  Those without would have ended up as outcasts.   I don't think its changed much today to be honest.  I think the majority of street people are people who suffer from a phych disorder.

How to repair my brain after a long battle of stress, and anxiety, depression?

It sound weird but for the past DECADE I have been severely depressed. for the past year, I've been having panic attacks, aneixty attacks and severely stressed out. Now that I'm recovering I notice that I may put so much stress on my brain that I damaged it a little. Because during the whole time I've been getting sick from being stressed out. Chest pains, headache, muscle twitches, sleep somnia, fluttering you name it. I heard that when your going through what I went through your brain produce unhealthy surgars and it needs to be repaired or it can only get worse. I will never trust a psychiatrist, they are money hungry and hand out killer medicine like its candy. You may have your own opinions but I would never take Thierry mess, the side effects alone is worst then the problems your trying to stop. The meds might make the situation worst. Can somebody with some prior experience or knowledge tell good habits to do. Daily happy juice routines would be nice. Thanks
