Stuff U Can Do On Samsung Galaxy S2 Not On Iphone 4s

Should I Get A IPhone 4s Or Samsung Galaxy S2?

Since I'm in the same boat and actually just got the Galaxy S2 yesterday. I will tell you my experience.

The pros: The phone is amazing! It's got everything you would want. It takes a little bit of getting used to though, but it didn't take me too long.

The cons: If you've used Itunes for music before, you're in for a big hassel of getting all your music on to the new phone, trust me, I've stayed up until just now trying to find the best program to do it all. I thought I found it in isyncr, but there has been conflicts to connect the phone to my PC. Anyway, long story short, the program Kies is STUPID! It doesn't even work. I was lucky I got my contacts transferred over at Best Buy or else, that would be time consuming too.

Another con is if you've used IOS, I still feel that the text messaging and typing tool of the IOS is Wayyyyy better than anything Android although the "Talk to text" is a huge plus.

So coming from being an IPhone user, I never thought about the accessories that I would want to consider like getting a case, screen protector, and car charger (trust me, the battery life isn't as good as IPhone). Having all that already for IPhone, I realize how much money I could save on accessories. I'm considering ordering the IPhone 4S and taking this one back.

I hope I don't regret that decision, but I have a feeling the IPhone 4S is going to be way better than my initial thought at the announcement.

Anyway, hope that helps you. I'm leaning on IPhone 4S. And if I get that, at least I get a free headphone lol... The Galaxy S2 only came with the charger.

Good luck on your decision.

Iphone 5 or samsung galaxy s2?

i want to buy a cell phone this summer and most people are talking about iphone 5 and samsung galaxy 2 but i cant decide what cell phone to buy bcuz both of them r awesome but i can only buy 1 so can some1 tell me which one is better!!

Samsung Galaxy S III vs iPhone 4S. Which do you prefer?

on the aesthetical aspect, i used both galaxy s3 and iphone 4s for a while. Since Samsung hired Steve Kondik aka The man behind cyanogenmod s3 became the most promising phone of 2012. And when you hold s3 in your hand it somehow fits you dont want to drop it and the lockscreen and live wallpaper based on water ripples and dandelion picture is one of the major things made me go for s3. And android is also started to dominate mobile industry because it is proven, efficient and flexible. Battery life is quite amazing. In idle mode %5 for 7hours of standby. I didnt have that kind of standby ratio in any of an iphone i used. I would go for s3 yet of course iphone still has some of its own pros.

Samsung Galaxy Stellar vs. Apple iPhone 4?

I'm in between phones right now and I get the option of a free phone. I'm down to my last two options and I honestly cannot decide no matter how much I look up about both. Both have their ups and downs. But some features I really don't care about and some I do so I was hoping some users out there could help me based on these points:
- messaging (shamelessly, I text more than I call and I will admit to that)
- good camera (I love to take pictures; not just of friends but of vacations and scenery and such)
- internet/ wifi (I think randomly sometimes and love to look up questions I think up)
- apps (I'm not a big gamer, but I do like to have room for apps that I hear about)
- video (I guess this should go along with camera, but I love making videos as much as taking pictures)
- music (even though I do have the iPod 4, it would be nice to put music on my phone on the times my iPod dies or I forget it at home)

I don't know if that's all, but those are the main aspects. It would be great to have a phone that follows those points. Please help!

Smartphones: How laggy was the Samsung Galaxy S2?

I agree with Dion Guillaume. Back in 2011 Samsung Galaxy S2 was quite fast, and a top-shelf device. Now? Not so much. I've been using a Galaxy S2 for about 2 years, and let me tell you, I hated every second of it. I know, it's my own fault for sticking with an out-dated smartphone.Apps are constantly being improved by developers, and the S2 just doesn't keep the pace.More so, I don't know what triggered this but sometimes I would have to wait up to 5 minutes after pressing call, for the phone to actually call the person I was trying to contact - it was so infuriating. My smartphone would sometimes call random people - no, I wasn't pocket calling, this happened while the phone was on my desk.

Would you recommend an IPhone rather than a Samsung Galaxy for someone not technologically inclined?

Hello Meredith,

It is generally accepted that Android-based phones, like the Samsung Galaxy series, have a steeper learning curve than most smartphones. This is owing to the more advanced functionalities present; most are never explored by the average user.

Whilst I can recommend the iPhone, I can also recommend Windows Phone (my smartphone of choice). The Nokia Lumia 928, has a larger screen the iPhone (4.5") with an all day battery life, but the software is also very easy to use (halfway between Android and iPhone). I'd certainly recommend getting hands - on experience with the devices, to make an informed decision.

Hope this helps!

From your point of view, which is better iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Ace, HTC. And why?

Smartphone OS wars are like trying to convince someone to change their religion. This is from another smartphone question I answered:I think the mistakes everyone makes with iPhone vs Android comparisons is that they depend too much on specs and not on actual day-to-day use.In a nutshell, for most people, the iPhone's iOS interface is a joy to use and just easy and natural. While you can 'customize' Android till the cows come home, it will never match iOS in my opinion.Secondly, with Apple, one gets the advantage of the Apple 'eco' system. You get very easy integration with iCloud, the best selection of Apps (many of which just run better or more elegantly on iOS), Siri (which will be even better when iOS 6 is released) and easy upgrades (even the old 3GS will be upgradeable to iOS 6!)Android fragmentation is a real issue. Check out this link for details:http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2...If you're the geeky type, you may gravitate towards Android (although you can do lots of geeky stuff if you jailbreak your iPhone, so even here it is not a big deal.)While the iPhone 4S utilizes HSPA+ which is pretty fast and ubiquitous, once the iPhone 5 comes out with LTE, there really won't be any reason to go with Android.

Does samsung galaxy s2 have any photo apps like instagram?

Yes you can get installegram (like) software from android store. And some better but FREE software also. As comparison of ipphone and galaxy s2 i radher suggest you to pick galaxy s2. Reason: just search once comparision blogs and compare your self. Galaxy s2 also getting current android 4.0 ICS update. And for one app you should not miss other hard facts...

What is better for business, the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy Alpha? iOS or Android?

As always, the iPhone 6 is alright for just doing business stuff (calls, texts, occasional emails) and is still relatively stable after the iOS 8 update. It finally got a larger screen so you can do a bit more, but depending on where you work you may find you need to install an app or APK that only runs on Android. If that's the case, you can usually keep your iPhone for yourself and just have a second company phone, though. If your company doesn't have any Android-specific requirements, they're both about equal in build and app quality, though Android has more apps. Personally I would recommend the new Moto X over a Galaxy Alpha because you will get a stock Google experience with it (sometimes the Samsung-specific apps aren't as smooth as everything else). If you do go with iPhone, be sure to back up your contacts as a lot of people complain they randomly get wiped sometimes. Not a problem if you back up though. In short: anything will work for business; go for whichever design you like better.
