Sudden Drastic Drop In My Run Performance.

Why is there a sudden drop in gas mileage on my motorcycle?

Based on your claim of not riding any differently and the recently changed oil and filters, I would think your drastic decrease in gas mileage may be a fuel delivery problem. You may have a gummed up injector, a faulty oxygen sensor, or you may need new plugs, as others have suggested. I would start with those things first.

Sudden drastic drop in my run performance.?

I have been doing 10km runs as part of my weekly training (once per week). My timing is around one hour with comfortable pace of around 7mins 50sec per km. However, the previous two weeks I have seen a drastic drop in my stamina as I struggle to cover 5km. I'm concerned as I am training for a upcoming marathon in 3 month's time.

I did a 12km race with 25 obstacles two weeks ago and had a blood donation the day after. Is there anything there that will affect my performance? How can I get back to my usual performance soon?

For the past two weeks I have only done light workouts like yoga and dance other than trying to complete my 10km training.

Worried and concern.

A file transfer speed suddenly drops from 10-15 MBps to KBps and even bytes per second. The same situation happened for a flash drive and Ethernet transfer. What can be the problem?

It’s hard to figure out without a lot more information. If it happens consistently that the file transfer speed starts off fast and then slows significantly then what you may be seeing is the “write cache” on the receiving device filling up. Once the write cache is full then the apparent network transfer speed will go down to match the physical write speed of the receiving device. However, with modern tech that should never drop as low as “bps”.Flash drive transfer doesn’t involve the network. If such transfers share the same cause as the slowed network transfers then we know that the problem lies with the sending device, that is, the device that already has the file and is sending it to the receiving device. In this case, it’s possible that the storage system on the sending device is experiencing “read errors”, which drive the transfer rate down. When a storage system experiences read errors the operating system will keep trying to retrieve the data until it hits some preconfigured internal maximum tries limit. If the storage system is failing, but hasn’t completely failed yet, then it could slow any file transfer from that device to another. HOWEVER, in this case, EVERYTHING you do on that device would likely slow to a crawl, not just file transfers. It’s possible that there is a software agent, such as an anti-virus program, that is scanning all file transfer activity and if the file is big enough, it can’t keep up and eventually slows the transfer down to a crawl. If the sending device is a Windows computer, then you may be able to use “performance monitor” to watch disk, memory and cpu activity levels, during the file transfer, and see if any are maxing out at 100%. That would at least tell you where the bottleneck is, if it’s with the sending device. If the problem was ONLY with a wifi transfer then I’d look to interference causes such as wifi routers/access points trying to run on the same channel or a poorly designed microwave oven.Good luck

What can be a reason behind a sudden FPS drop in games?

Laptop, gaming and s drop after some time brought one thing to my mind: overheating. Overheating is a common issue in laptops, especially on gaming. Check if your laptop is overheating from sides and below.About the fps drop, it is possible that there's a running process/service, possibly an OEM software that watching the temperature of your video card and/or cpu, switching them to some cooldown mode if necessary.Check for these possibilities.Another possibility is your laptop is switching to power-saving mode somehow, maybe some OEM software prevents your input invalidating the power-modes countdown (because games take user input exclusively to themselves), so your device switches power options after a specific duration. This comes in to my mind because you say "sudden fps drop after some time".And of course your battery or charging adapter/cable might be faulty, causing problems. You can detect them easily in games but not easily on desktop. What I suggest you is, make a fresh OS installation without any unnecessary OEM software or anything and try. If the problem persists, it's possible that your problem is related to hardware, otherwise you will know that it's software fault. That way you can narrow the possibilities.

My iphone 6 battery is suddenly dropping from around 45% to 25%. Is it a software issue (ios 9.2.1) or is my battery dying?

You are not alone. I had the exact same problem with the iphone 6, starting about September 2017. Dramatic drops in power from 100% to 60% to 10% for no apparent reason. Went to the apple store and they now have a diagnostic they can run that confirms that the battery is officially "Consumed".Those are nice words that really mean: Apple Engineers specified a battery in the iPhone6 that doesn't last longer than 3 years and its up to the consumer who paid nearly $800 for the largest memory version of the phone to decide whether to pay $80 at the Apple store to have the battery replaced, take a risk with a 3rd party to replace the battery, or spend another $800-$1000 on a replacement phone. On top of that, they make you wait a couple hours at the store and don't even employ the technology to text you when its ready. The good news is that for the thousands of people having this problem -- its normal and expected and you don't have to waste time reinstalling the OS and all those time wasting activities. Its simply a fact that the Iphone 6 battery is not designed to last long and Apple fully knows this as their diagnostic tools now confirm it.

Computer Help Please, slow performance on internet?

I have a Samsung R60 plus Laptop
Running an intel core 2 dup processor and Windows Vista OS
I am on a wireless network(netgear with aol)

I have had the laptop for about 5 Months and up until a couple of days ago i've had no apparent internet problems...

Until then.. all of a sudden my laptops performance dropped terrible..

when downloading videos or files, it takes ages, it says estimated time days.. on a file that would normally take 10 minutes...

The only thing i can think of that may have done something is that i removed the Mcafee Free trial from my computer by downloading the tool and removing it...

I then downloaded Avg 8.0 , ran a virus-scan no threats found, i have no unindtalled that and not running any anti-virus... but that isnt the problem as i have been unprotected for months and it has been fine...

Normal web pages like Google and such like or mmm, ok i suppose its tolerable... but when streaming videos online,. it is just pathetic..........

One thing i will mention that is a bit hard to explain is this...

when my laptop was running fine the signal was usually 2-3 bars...

now ehen the laptop is running slow, it is 4-5 bars and very good signal, ... that i do no understand lol......

i have tried switching the firewall off, and it is still slow...

I m not very computer literate and wouldnt trust myself with any mega things... so if you could explain in simple format for me please...

any help on this matter would be appreciated as i want to get it sorted soon lol

so thankyou very much in advance if you can help me :D

thanks...

Sudden drop in battery...without any heavy use...I am using a moto g...A few minutes back my phone had 40% battery...and in just few seconds it rebooted..and now displaying 1% battery left...can anyone explain this..? ...do I need to get my phone checked?

The actual capacity of a battery decreases as the battery ages through an irreversible fading process. This capacity loss occurs both with active use, correlated with charging cycles, and with inactivity through self-discharge. The device may even come with substandard batteries. However, the amount of loss is linear with time and accelerates with increasing temperature. Smartphones do not typically employ sophisticated techniques for estimating the usable capacity with the basic solution basing on simple charge cycle estimation and then using an offline calibrated lookup table to find the state of charge or battery level given the charge cycle.Battery level or State of Charge (SOC) estimation in modern smartphones cannot capture the usable capacity of the battery run time, and thus have unreliable SOC estimation. This inaccuracy manifests as sudden jumps in the battery level, and can result in unexpected shutdown of the device. Therefore, there are two issues; (1) The battery capacity is reduced, and (ii) The device is unable to estimate the capacity loss. The detail about this can be found in the following paper.Sudden Drop in the Battery Level?
