I went to the hospital and got a CT scan and my blood drawn, The CT scan came up good and i ended up being released with a huge headache and he told me to take a asprin a day (which im not doing until i go to my doc and he says to or not too) But now everything seems okay besides my heads kinda still hurting and i havent been feeling great but my question is, He told me i prolly have a kind've migrane that mimics a stroke .Does this happen to anyone else? Im young..I smoke but no drugs and rarely any alcohol.. This is the first time i've went numb but not the first time i've gotten a mean headache with confusion and not being able to speak right that happened about a year ago but everything was good until the other night when

Numbness on the right side of my face!! Please Answer.?

Tight neck muscles can be causing that to happen for when tight they can press onto the nerves leaving the spine that go around your body to your face. Pressure on the nerves will cause numbness or pain in those areas. To get rid of the problem you have to free up your back muscles to release the tight ones pressing into the nerves and here's how to free them up:
Neck:
Place your hands behind your head so your fingers meet in the middle of your neck. Press into the neck with a moderate pressure and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your head as far as you can, then remove the pressure from the muscles but continue holding your head down for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Numbness/Tingling in face, but right-side only?

The numbness and tingling is nerves. There are many facial nerves. What it could be is bell's palsy. None of this is life threatening or needed to be seen at the ER. The only reason to go to an ER is an A-B-C problem (airway, breathing, circulation). IF this continues till Monday call you doc in the am and explain the symptoms to him/her. If your bloodpressure is way high you will have visual disturbances and a headache, if way low you will be dizzy. A stroke(CVA cerebral vascular accident) would effect the ipsilateral side (face) cross over to the contralateral side of the body at the brainstem and you would have weakness on the left side of the body. Since you have no symptoms on the contralateral side of the body it can not in any way be a stroke

Can smoking marijuana cause numbness in my limbs, fast heartbeat, and dizziness that brings me close to fainting?

Maybe!Actually I started smoking three years ago and the above mentioned effects I experienced at my first time in weed! I decided to quit that very day and I didn’t have any contact with marijuana for one good year!It happened unusually one day when, I was to start my end high school exams and I saw my two friends smoking, I came close them and I was influenced to take it again but I was somehow afraid you know! At this time time, I never saw any bad effects after smoking, I was feeling as high as heaven, my appetite increased, brain was at work and I could even laugh with flies passing around my face!Whenever I smoked it, I was like thinking too much in life and I was like very wise!So my dear friend, when your body doesn’t want it then you will be experiencing those wherever you take it and the only way to heal this is just to QUIT with an immediate effect!

Why is my tongue numb after taking Benadryl?

I put Benadryl capsules under my tongue like some people suggest because it works faster that way, but my tongue is now numb, and I'm talking funny...why is that?

Can numbness from a panic attack be sudden or is it only gradual?

Back when my anxiety first started, I'd always get a gradual tingling/numbness that would start in my hand and move throughout my body e.g. up my arm, through one side of my face and even in my mouth/teeth. That hasn't happened for a very long time, even if I've had a bad panic attack.

Recently though, I experienced a migraine aura (blind spot, weird zig zags etc) and it completely freaked me out and I was in a very high state of panic, and out of nowhere my whole arm right went numb (which obviously didn't help the panic lol). I'm trying to figure out if it was from the panic attack (and if so, why wasn't it gradual), or whether it was some other effect of the migraine aura. After about 5 minutes of it being numb, I had the usual symptoms of it gradually moving throughout my body e.g. to my teeth/tongue and face and eventually it went away (have never had this symptom otherwise during migraine aura, I think I was just very scared that time).

When I woke up my whole arm was numb and I wasn't laying on it. Why?

There is a whole list of potential answers to your question:Sleeping posture. Too many pillows under your head can cause the intervertebral foramen to become closed and compress the brachial nerves, compression of the brachial artery, spasm of the scalene musculature.Cervical rib at C7Disc herniation of the cervical spineScoliosisSome potentially dangerous causes:Space occupying lesion within the brain on the right parietal lobe. Space occupying lesion may include benign or non-benign tumor, aneurysm, parasitic infection.Tumor within the spinal canal.Cytsocoel within the spinal cord.Degenerative bone spur…and the list goes on and on.The point is that it is not normal, but also not necessarily difficult to find out or dangerous.I would recommend that you take the steps necessary to discover the underlying cause and you may need to visit a number of specialists to figure it out. I would start by ruling out any potentally dangerous causes by first visiting a neurologist. If that gets you nowhere, then an ortopedist, or chiropractor. If you still have problems after visiting these doctors, try a physical therapist or licensed massage therapist. Still no help? Start over until the cause has been discovered.

Is it normal for my hands and face to go numb when I drink?

As others have stated, you might be drinking too much too fast. But there are people who have an increased sensitivity to alcohol or alcohol intolerance, where even just a drink or two will give them a significant reaction.I know I have a very low alcohol tolerance. My mother has a clear alcohol INTOLERANCE. Just one drink can make her flushed, elevate her heart beat and make her feel light headed.I have also experienced that sensation where my lips and face feel numb after having a drink. In that case I was drinking on an empty stomach and the drink I ordered had a lot higher alcohol ration in it than I had anticipated. I have very low blood pressure to begin with, so I suspect the drink lowered my blood pressure even further and it was affecting my circulation.Start out slow. Have no more than one drink per hour and if you are still experiencing these symptoms you should consider that you may have a sensitivity or intolerance to alcohol.Alcohol intolerance - Symptoms and causes
