Sudden Sharp Pain In Lower Chest/ribcage

Back,chest pain and lower ribs pain?

You have tight muscles in your back causing those pains for the back muscles often send the pains around the body on the nerves to become pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. When you have pinched muscles in the back they can also press into the nerves going to the organs as they leave the spine. That pressure makes the organs act up or go into pain. Pressure on the nerves to your stomach will cause it to release more gastric acid which will cause an ulcer in your stomach and the extra acid will back up to cause gerds and ibs, depending upon what all is happening. To get rid of all your pains you have to free up your back muscles and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Sudden sharp pain under left rib cage and stomach pain?

Two days ago I was sitting down and i got up, feeling this awful intense pain under my left rib cage, and it felt like it was spreading to my stomach. i felt like curling up into a ball but i was walking with my parents and didnt want them to worry. I felt like throwing up, too. Not enough for me to actually throw up, but the feeling was there. I ate in the morning so i was clueless as to what the pain could have arose from. it felt better when i pushed my stomach out, and i just kept doing that and eventuality it went away.
The next day before i was about to go to bed, the feeling came back again-stomach pain, nausea, under left rib cage pain, all that stuff. i was going to bed so i just laid down and it went away without a problem. But today, it came back and it hurt sooooo bad. out of nowhere, under my left rib cage hurt and when i tried to stand up straight, the unbearable pain was there again. it was really just my overall stomach that hurt. it felt like there was a current that was going through my stomach, moving all around. i dont even know. i felt like puking. but i didnt. i laid down, and it went away, after a minute, i went into a sitting position and the pain in my tummy came back. it was weird, i could lay down straight as can be, but when i stand up straight, it hurt. and when i sat down, even hunched over, it hurt really bad. anyway, i laid down again and slowly propped myself back up into sitting position and the pain eased away. i could still feel it a tiny bit, but for the most part it was gone. it also helped to push out my stomach. before this happened today, i ate about two hours before. please help, im getting a bit worried. and i play sports so i dont want this to be a problem.
Additional information is i'm a 15 year old girl, i had my period like two weeks ago so i dont think my period would be causing this, im a virgin, and im a skinny girl. I dont have any medical conditions that i know of, and i never had. Thanks so much!

Stabbing pain in lower right rib cage?

Hey there hun!

It could have something to do with your gallbladder, liver, ribs...

Does it hurt after eating or all the time?

*hugs*

Gallstones - Symptoms

The most common symptom of gallstones is pain in the stomach area or in the upper right part of the belly, under the ribs.

The pain may:

* Develop suddenly in the center of the upper belly (epigastric area) and spread to the right upper back or shoulder blade area. It is usually hard to get comfortable; moving around does not make the pain go away.
* Prevent you from taking normal or deep breaths.
* Last 15 minutes to 24 hours. Continuous pain for 1 to 5 hours is common.
* Begin at night and be severe enough to wake you.
* Occur after meals.
***************************
What are the symptoms?

A fractured rib may cause:

* Mild to severe pain in the injured area.
* Pain when you breathe.
* Pain around the fracture when someone pushes on your breastbone.

If you can't breathe normally because of pain or flail chest, you may:

* Feel short of breath.
* Feel anxious, restless, or scared.
* Have a headache.
* Feel dizzy, tired, or sleepy.

Why did i get a sharp chest pain after drinking water?

That sounds like a partially pinched muscle in your back that the pain is being caused by. The muscle isn't pinched tight but it isn't fully released either so it can be moved into the pain area fairly easy. when you chugged that water down and tilted your head back it put enough pressure on the muscle to make it go fully pinched for a period of time and the pain was on. When you have muscles pinched in the rib area the pains like to follow the ribs to the front and then manifest themselves there. Here is how to release your back muscles so this don't happen anymore, it will make a full release of that muscle in your back:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold.

What causes stomach pain under the rib cage on both sides?

Sometimes a pain under your right ribs or your left ribs can be a symptom of an infection or inflammation of a specific organ. For example, under your left rib cage are your spleen and part of your stomach. Your liver and gallbladder are located under your right ribs. Although your heart is in the middle of your chest, heart-related problems usually cause mild to severe pain under your left rib cage.However, there are many reasons other than problems with one of your organs why pain can occur under your rib cage. Please read on to find out the many different causes of pain under your ribs and what you can do to get rid of your symptoms.Pain under Ribs – CausesIndigestion is a very common reason why many people feel pain and discomfort under their ribs. Among some of the reasons for indigestion are eating too quickly, consuming fatty foods or spicy foods, or smoking. However, it can also be caused by underlying health problems like gastritis, gallstones, or an intestinal blockage. The Mayo Clinic says that indigestion causes discomfort and pain under your breastbone to your navel. You may also experience a burning sensation and bloating in your upper abdomen.And you may experience stomach pain after eating or hard stomach as well.To prevent indigestion from causing pain in your upper abdomen and rib cage, Dr. David T. Derrer on WebMD says that you should eat smaller meals frequently. He also advises to avoid fatty, spicy, and acidic foods as well as consuming less alcohol and caffeinated drinks.You can find other natural remedies in my article about the most effective natural treatments for gas and bloating.Stress can also trigger indigestion, so trying to eat in a relaxed setting and learning to cope with stress better can help you avoid the pain in your rib cage that is caused by indigestion.

Sometimes, I get a sudden pain in my lower left lung, and it only lasts a few seconds (I can't take a deep breath). Is this bad?

If it is on the left side and low in the chest it could be a gas pain that is in the area of the stomach where it meets the esophagus. I had thee as a young man and I was petrified they were heart pains. The truth is that that area is so close to the heart the muscle that closes the stomach is called the cardiac sphincter muscle. This of course is only a guess and cannot be taken at face value here on the internet. There has been no medical history taken nor has there been a physical exam. So keep this in mind when you see a doctor who can perform these required exercises and may have an opportunity to get some imaging done either x-rays or ultrasound I would suspect.

Pain under breasts in rib cage area? Help?

I've been having a sort of dull pain in this area, the top of my stomach, underneath my breasts, in the rib cage area. What could this be, could it be my large sized breasts causing strain on my rib cage or something?

I had this similar pain about 6 years ago (when my breasts were as big as they were now) as they are as big as they are right now due to weight gain, where as at my normal weight they are a couple of cups smaller.

I went to the hospital last week when it hurt and they did an x ray and blood test and said that nothing was wrong. HELP.

Sharp chest pain when I take a deep breath or yawn?

Pinched back muscles often send the pains around your body on the nerves to be pains in your rib, chest or heart areas. The muscles are just tight but when you yawn or take a deep breath your spine is moving to cause the pains to happen in the muscles, to pinch them. Back:
(do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
