These are custom built, but if you go through customizing the base unit with the most expensive options, you'll end up with the most powerful and most expensive laptop available. Alienware also offers much more reasonably priced laptops that are very powerful. Additionally, the Gateway P series http://www.gateway.com/systems/series/52... are good value, the Asus G7 series like the G71Gx http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=j9EAEJubYZtCZDcP and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220550&Tpk=g71%20asus is very good performance for a decent price.
