Suggest Me A Title For My Bachelor Degree Project In It

A Bachelor of Applied Studies in Management is a good degree?

Both degrees are relatively the same as they are designed to prepare students for managerial careers. Essentially, the coursework is almost identical and both programs will be able to mold students into successful leaders of the business world. The majority of courses will hone and strengthen students' leadership, mathematical and critical thinking skills. Sample classes will include accounting, business law, marketing, communications, project management, international business, and information systems.

The main difference between a BA in Management and a BAS in Management is that the majority of "applied studies" programs require students to have a strong foundation in liberal arts and the humanities. "Applied studies" degrees are also typically offered to those who already have an associate degree or are transferring from a technical or vocational school. But both programs are excellent degrees to pursue and will provide the same ample number of opportunities. In fact, career opportunities for management degree holders are expected to increase about 12 percent, creating 32,300 new jobs within the next decade, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. With either one of these degrees the career opportunities are theoretically endless, but some job titles might include: account executive; business consultant; budget analysts; business development specialist; operations research analysts; and high-in retail store manager.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, but I'm currently unemployed... What's my title?

actually in many states the term engineer is protected similar to the term Architect. I think the most common term If her for this is Architectural Designer or Design Architect. However these terms vary, some firms use associate for the lowest level employee, while at other firms, associate is a high level title. The same goes for project architect. Don't over think it, for your purposes, use architectural designer.

I am doing bachelor degree in IT. To become a software engineer what should I do? Which language should I learn?

Take all the hardest programming courses possible. The reason you are in college is to not just to get a piece of paper, but to actually learn! Learn all there is taught in the course. Take hard courses and take stuff you are interested in and get As because you will enjoy class and will prove to yourself that you really want to be a software engineer.Work on side projects.I built my own crappy blog and a website for a church in ASP Classic (over 10 years ago). These are embarrassing accomplishments but I moved on to PHP and learned CodeIgniter and WordPress to build more websites. Not all your projects will be great or useful, but they will help you learn. Being a software engineer is 90% figuring how to accomplish something on your own. It is really hard learning stuff on your own because there is so many different directions to go and you never know what is the best decision.Pick a language and solve a small problem.Solving a problem will motivate you to learn and get something done. Try to start small.nodeJs - starting out, I would jump on any bandwagon just to stay ahead and nodeJs is the language to do it on.PHP - A still legit programming language that gets a lot of criticism based on older versions. I use it to build web apps in side projects because PHP is accessible by default almost anywhere. If you are afraid of the stigma, Python is good too.Java - Mostly everybody used this language in college, but you can do some pretty cool stuff with it, such as Android development. I also ended up using Java in my current software engineering position. From the start of college to getting the title, “Software Engineer” took me 9 years.I got my bachelor’s (4 years) and master’s degree (2 years) and then worked a temporary job for 6 months before I lived in Japan for about 2.5 years. When I looked for work, I found my current job as a software engineer. I’m sure it will take most people less time and everyone will have a different story, but of those years, my getting bachelor’s degree was the hardest part. Don’t give up on your dream and if you think it is worth it, you will do whatever it takes to make it. It was pulling all-nighters, sleep deprivation, and stressful nights of studying for me.

Why Project Management certification is necessary for Project Managers?

Hi,
Project Management is a very lucrative field given the amount of money in the way of perks and paycheck. I recently visited the website of the international institute of Project management and came to know about this.
I don't know any of this PMP things. As they call it Project Management Professional and all.
Can any body give a clear idea on this?
How to give the exam?
When is it Taken?
Requirement?
Any training available for this?
Thank you in Advance

Bachelors vs. Associates in Graphic Design?

I'm currently a full-time student at The Art Institute of Colorado going for my Bachelors degree.
I have been thinking of lowering it to just finishing up with my Associates degree instead for a couple different reasons.

1. I'm going to be getting married to an army soldier and if I move to be stationed with him getting stationed somewhere where I'm not around a campus.

2. I've been told by multiple people that their isn't a difference as long as you can prove your skills.

3. The difference between getting my associates versus my bachelors at my college is about $30,000 - $50,000 dollars more.

4. the last 5 quarter required to get my BA are mostly electives and senior projects. Why would I want to pay thousands of dollars to take classes not directed towards my field.

5. only downside between the 2 programs is with the BA they'll put you in an internship, where as with the AS they will not. But if I'm moving from being stationed places with the army an internship wouldn't really help me.

So experienced people in the field, which is better and why?

&

how easy would it be for me to find a job (and what would I mostly be doing) if I just do it from the computer at home/online since I don't know where I'll be stationed or for how long?

ps. if I do AS I'll graduate this December. If I do BA I'd graduate in March of 2011.

What if I have no project management experience but want to do PMP? Am I eligible to take PMP exam?

Are you sure you don't have project management experience? When I was going through this process, my mentor helped me comb through my professional experience to find areas within my work experience that were indeed considered projects. For example, I was on the team that was responsible for upgrading and transitioning the accounting system. This project often times lasted up to a year, and involved thousands of transactions worth millions of dollars. I've completed similar projects like this for several companies throughout my accounting career. However, that's not enough to qualify for the PMP. You have to have the equivalent of 3 years working on projects. In addition, you have to have 35 hours of education in the subject. This can be obtained many different ways, I got mine through my MBA. If you have attended college or a university, review your transcripts for qualifying courses. These are the big ones, and to learn more about everything that is needed visit pmi.org. In their certifications section, you can see all of the criteria you need to satisfy to get your PMP, in addition to other certifications available. If you don't have everything yet, and need a certification ASAP, then take a look at the CAPM.
