Does anyone know of a cheap wedding venues near Los Angeles?
The places I first thought of won't suit. I love the Old Mill in San Marino but, while thay allow events, they DO NOT allow weddings....go figure. Descanso Gardens is nice....but too expensive. I attended a wedding at the the La Canada Women's Club (aka Thursday Club) & it was a lovely setting with a large outdoor patio/garden area....but you'd have to contact them for details & prices. I have personally had FOUR weddings in Las Vegas & love the Little Church of the West. In Vegas you can go from pretty darn cheap ($65 bucks) to expensive. I like the idea of having my "reception" in one of the nice restaurants or even a cocktail party in the room. Splurge on a suite if you're gonna do a in-room reception. WHO doesn't love VEGAS? A wedding is the perfect excuse to head up there!
