Suppose You Are The Critical Care Department Head At Mercy Hospital.

What if you have a warrant of arrest and have to go to the hospital? Can they call the police on you?

They can if law enforcement has specifically requested that they be notified if a particular individual checks in, but ordinarily no, Chuck, but if the police are actively searching for someone, then they’ll keep a constant eye on hospital admission records, and if their name pops up, then they can expect to be taken into custody. Gunshot wounds, domestic and child abuse are exceptions, and they are required to report it to the police. If someone needs hospital care that requires them to remain there, then they'll be placed under arrest, possibly handcuffed within the hospital, and a police guard placed on them until they're well enough to be moved to an incarceration facility. If they really need it, then they'll need to decide which is more important, their health and life, or their freedom. If this is you, then good luck.

Is it a violation of privacy to share a hospital room?

Last month my mother had an accident and required emergency surgery. Afterwards, she was assigned to the Critical Care Unit. The CCU has 2 beds in each room. She was there for several weeks.

You can imagine my shock and surprise one day when I went to visit and saw a man in the other bed. When the family and I expressed our concern about it, we were told that the CCU is "co-ed". They also said that if you're critical enough to be in the CCU, it shouldn't matter at all. (They kept the curtain closed between the beds.)

Now, my mother is a fiesty senior citizen and has been a widow for many years. Also, it could have been the morphine talking when she whispered to the nurse that she had been sleeping with a man and she didn't even know what he looked like. The nurse thought that was hilarious and told the room mate. His reaction? "Pull back that curtain!"

Why can't god hear my cries of pain?

I'm not going to look up something to which I asked a question to on here.

So God is exactly like normal occurrences in the fact that you just have to wait until it happens? And God is unconditionally loving, yet only if you have faith? That seems like a condition to me.

Then why can't God help the people who couldn't go through the pain and killed themselves and went to Hell because of it? If he is unconditionally loving, why would he let someone do that? Freewill? It seems to me that free-will is an illusion.

He's either not real or a sadomasochist.

Well written NewlyBorn. I also find it interesting that you're one of the only ones who quoted bible scripture and you're not Christian. Make sure you're reading in context, the true believers will hunt you down, kill you and eat your dead flesh (The Crusades) (I lol'd)

Obviously if you're 60 years old, you should be able to sense sarcasm. I'm not bitching at my pain, I'm asking a logical question to illogical Christians

Who's read the novel "franny and zooey" by J.D Salinger?

It's a brilliant book!
I know it's probably too late now, but I'd definitely recommend you read it later on.

Can't help you with the other question, as it's too long ago that I had to write book reviews.
