GTA 5 turned my son into a gangster?
I read that research showed that games don't make you violent. The only problem here is that he is 11. Kids of that age like they see spiderman they want to be spiderman they see the terminator they want to be the terminator. They just get into something and it usually lasts until they see another movie that makes them want that or in this case another game. When he is 3-4 years older that won't be a problem. And after all if I recall Grand theft auto 5 has an age restriction making you responsible for letting him play the game???
What are the steps in robbing a bank? (THIS IS STRICTLY HYPOTHETICAL FOR A FICTIONAL BOOK!!!)?
Okay, I know it sounds like I'm a bank robber, but I SWEAR I'm not. I am trying to write a chapter (or a few) where my characters rob a bank. I need to know: 1. What are the things needed to rob a bank? Like, the safety deposit boxes perhaps? (Just for information's sake, there are 8 people involved in this heist. Also, this is a fairly small bank that I planned on letting my characters take $75,000 from. It actually turns out later on that the villain set the bank up for them to rob, so the money probably wouldn't have been there under circumstances.) 2. How much preparation would someone need? How long does it take? (I don't want to say, 'After a week of prep, they stole $10,000.' if it takes about two months to lay out a plan and actually put it into motion.) I would like the least amount of time to plan for this, please. (like if it varies from 1 month to six months, I need to know what they would do to do a 1-month prep. 3. What kinds of things would be obstacles for them? Obviously a security guard, an alarm, etc...) 4. Is there ANYTHING I need to make sure to mention? Like, what are guards usually armed with? Are they armed? What's the best way to get into a bank, basically? etc? THANKS SO MUCH!
Should my 13 year old son play GTA?
sir , this comes from a 15 year old gamer so i don't know if it will really help or not. gta is famous for its violence and strong language and sometimes nudity (gta 4- the lost and damned). the word f-u-c-k is used constantly in the game. although the language is also used in cod and there are whores in assassins creed but gta is way more over exaggerated than these games. if your son is mature enough for the game then its okay but seriously i have been playing the game since i was 9 and i have not imitated any of the actions in the game in real life.
