Where can I read the Sword Art Online light novel?

Actually, Sword Art Online was licensed for English language by Yen Press. So, to prevent legal disputes, Baka Tsuki took it down from there sites. If you search in google you can still find PDFs/EPUBs of SAO volumes. Here is the website for the translator who is still translation SAO and releasing it (because you know, Yen Press will take about 5-6 years if not more to translate all the volumes till date). http://www.taptaptaptaptap.net

Are all of Sword Art Online's players Japanese?

Yes and no. The game was only released in Japan and thus only people living there would have been able to play the game, so yes, in that sense all of the players would have been Japanese. However, as Agil shows, not everyone who played the game is ethnically Japanese, so no, just because they’re playing the game does not guarantee that they’re ethnically Japanese or Asian.

Sword art online season 2!?

The Season 2 was already finished. For your information guys, the ALO arc IS the Season 2 (It's aired during the Fall Season. Season 1 was during the Summer Season).
Maybe what you are asking for is the season 3.
There are no announcements yet for the Season 3 of Sword Art Online.
I found a site that lists the anime that are already confirmed that are either to be aired on Japanese televison or sold as anime DVD/Blu-Ray. You can find the link in my sources. Sword Art Online is not listed in there. Maybe not yet. I can't tell.
There are also no announcements yet in the official twitter page of its anime but a post says お楽しみに which probably means to look out forward to something. This might be a hint that another season will be in production but I can't confirm it.
Also, there are no announcements in their website.
.
@Jordan Vernon Overfly is the ending theme song of the 2nd Season of SAO (the ALO arc). Also, the date in the website where you got that says 2012-08-25 (August 25, 2012)

Where can I download or read Japanese light novels?

I really want to read the inspiration for some of the anime I watch and they were originally light novels. I want to read sword art online, dragonar academy, and date a live. Thanks.

Do light novel series get translated to English?

Some do, some don't. Many are translated by fans and posted online, and a smaller number are licensed and officially released in English. Many are never translated at all.

SAO and the Haruhi Suzumiya novels have both been licensed by Yen Press.

They will be releasing the first volume of SAO in April, and the second in August. They will likely continue to release the series after that, but no further volumes have been scheduled yet.

They've already released all of the Haruhi Suzumiya novels that currently exist: http://www.yenpress.com/haruhi-suzumiya-...

Oreimo unfortunately hasn't been licensed, but a fan translation is available here: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/?title...

-Thanks!

Where can I read all the Sword Art online manga?

Well, there is one thing wrong here.Sword Art Online is based of a Light Novel with the same name; the Light Novel can either be bought through Yen Press in English or read online through Sword art online (volume 1-12)If you wish to support the Officially release; use Yen Press

When does season 3 of Sword Art Online come out?

There isn’t an official release date…yet. But it is said that as long as the writer, Reki Kawahara, keeps writing the storyline. A-1 Pictures will animate anything that he writes. And also that SAO III won’t start after the SAO Movie: Ordinal Scale that is going to be released in 2017.In other words, they will finish the movie first then work on SAO III based on what the creator said. But it could change, you never know.Source - SAO III Confirmed
