Symbian Android Or Windows Phone Which Is Best For Gaming

Android vs Symbian belle vs ios?

Symbian has better hardware efficiency because of different ram mapping etc. It offers better stability and crash proofing because of its kernal. The ui isn't that fast but the in app performance is very good. Symbian is also designed to handle PHONE stuff better which is probably something you want on a phone. The new symbian Belle also has a more interesting ui(look at screenshots) with more functions like resizeable widgets.

Nokia phones phones also come with of very nice free hardware and software. The official Microsoft office is also on its way to Belle that already has quick office. Nokia phones are also much better quality. A very nice feature of the new Belle phones is nfc which is simplified Bluetooth. If you look on the symbian Belle site nokia offers Belle on a range of best in class phones like the n8(camera) 603(cheap and colorful) 700(smallest) 701(brightest and specced) and e7(keyboard).

Trust me choosing Belle is a no brainer. I have a lot personal experience and I have also done a lot of research into this!

ANDROID is the best of all…&…….it is the most popular mobile OS on the planet, Android offers an unprecedented range of handsets at a variety of price points. There's an Android to suit every wallet. As a consequence support for Android from software developers and media owners is second only to one: iOS. You can find every app you could possibly desire in Google Play, and you can purchase music and movies from a variety of sources.Android offers a level of customisation to both end user and hardware manufacturer. Not all Androids are the same, far from it. But the sheer popularity of Android devices means that there are lots of compatible third-party devices and accessories for Android.Go for android……GOOD LUCK..:-))

android is best in smart phones,as it is very customizable. you can flash recoveries, customs roms, apply some tweaks. and android is much smoother than windows phones, the animations and multitasking is very convenient too.The stock android can be customized to many different ui, and each company has their own ui,which is kinda cool. Every phone is different in this way, but the features and the easy to use thing remain the same. And for any problem in your device there are many developers to solve it, which windows phone dont have.

Different, different layers in stack.No.Android Architecture:-Here you can see the different layers present in Android phone.  The Dalvik Virtual Machine is basically a modified JVM. Basically Android is a java platform like old Symbian phones with lots of libraries exposed to developers to build. Android will never be as smooth as windows because windows does not have this one level of virtualization.More technically, Android runs byte code(DVM) and Windows runs Native(not 100% sure). All the UI rendering which occurs on Windows occur in a dedicated UI thread which has the highest priority.  Actually you need to do some clever things to give something else more priority than UI thread. Where as on Android rendering happens on the main thread, inside a VM.Windows Architecture (for reference)ps:- My comment on windows might be a bit off because neither do I use windows phone nor do I develop for phones. My only knowledge on windows is from WPF programming.Windows chose to tax developers a bit instead of hardware manufacturers. For example on a Nokia lumia 520, A developer gets a maximum of 180 MB RAM. And if developer needs more RAM(200MB) , it will fail in all devices below 1GB RAM. Android got better at RAM management with KitKat.

The large size is mainly due to the high resolution images bundled inside the app. Since we have android devices with very high screen resolutions these days, especially the tablets, the images used in the interface of the app have to be of bigger size and quality. Because of this the app size is increasing. Also since a single apk can run on devices with different screen size and density, we need to provide image resources for all of these.(For eg, There can be 5 splash images in a single apk for 5 screen densities: ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi.)

For a pure Android experience, go for Nexus device. There were some non-Nexus devices also called Play store edition which came with pure Android + Google apps. Any other phone will likely have some bloatware. That's matter of personal preference. I know some people who cant manage without HTC's UI or Samsung specific apps, for others its just crap and they call it bloatware. I really dont have any data to support or refute your claims about memory, I will let others answer that.

First, Android:Is an open source.Made by Google.Especially for smartphones, but available in laptops which are known as Chromebooks.Provides a deluge of apps, some of them works as ‘trojan horse’.Very easy to use, and you can build your own UI for yourself by rooting the device.OS frequently gets an update, thus making you feel that your phone got old in just a year.Android smartphones are prone to viruses, thus, the phone deteriorates in a couple of years.IOS:Especially designed for Apple devices.Great UI, yet difficult than Android.Everything good in the app store will cost you.iTunes is the only recommended means of transferring data.Mac OS (a sub-category of IOS for Macbooks) is not suitable for gaming.Windows:In the Computer segment:Windows XP ruled the world for almost a decade.Windows Vista was a mojor flop.Windows 7 is still loved by many.Windows 8 had a drastically changed, thus considered as a flop.Windows 8.1 was a better version, yet considerable.Windows 10 is the last OS of Windows so far, getting updated day by day.In the Mobile segment:Windows 8.1 is good Windows 10 looks great.Doesn’t have much apps in comparison to Android and IOS.You’ll not be able to explore every features of a Windows Phone, I bet. There’s a belief that these phones are typical to operate than Androids.Blackberry:Designed for blackberry mobiles.Mostly considered is a business centric OS.Utmost safety. Not suitable for fun.Symbian:Was considered as the most handy OS back in the days.S60 was the topmost OS of Symbian lineup. Was the OS of renowned Nokia E series, N series, Asha series.Almost came to an end.Others:Most of them are Java based OS.Most considerable OS in this category are:BADA (Samsung owned)MAEMO (later on merged with Mobilin and evolved as MeeGo)There are many more other OS available in the market, but this is all you must know about the OS.Undoubtedly, Android is the king of the OS.IOS is also much appreciated, but the devices comprising that OS often costed some people their kidney (just kidding about a fact).

Android vs IOS for Phone OS?

Personally i would much rather use an IOS device over an Android as the IOS software is much more fluent then Android as Android devices tend to lag. Being more specific it's not the Android software that is bad, it's the phones. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the most laggiest Android device of them all. Secondly i think in terms of bang for buck, Android phones blow IOS out of the water as you can easily pick up an android device for less then half the price of an iPhone. Lastly if you do consider buying an Android phone because it has better specifications, it will not mean that this device will perform better. The software will show how well the device really performs.

Pros and cons of symbian operating system?

Pros and Cons from what perspective? Are you a phone manufacturer? Are you a software developer? Are you an end-user?

From an phone manufacturer perspective: it is highly scalable, able to fit midrange and high-end devices.

From a software developer perspective: elegant and robust design with easy to use frameworks. Multiple supported runtimes so that you can use whatever programming language feels right for you.

From end-user perspective: the true multitasking OS it is used by world's best hardware manufacturers for world's best smartphones.

@Roxas, don't be an idiot: a OS's slowness is dictated by the hardware on which is run. Nokia's N97 has less powerful hardware than the iPhone yet it still is better than iPhone and at least as fast. Other manufacturers beef-up their hardware precisely because their OSs need more power to work. Symbian is more power efficient that any other mobile OS. Any powerful OS is prone to virus attacks but Symbian is probably the least vulnerable state of the art security design that isolates applications from the core OS and from each other. Finally, java apps designed for Symbian OS powered deices work on these devices 100%. If an application does not work on a Symbian phone it is application's problem.
