Taking My Id Pic Help

Why is Facebook asking for proof of ID?

Facebook asking for Government ID. One of my friend's ID blocked by Facebookdue to fake name. My friend upload his National Identity card two days earlier but still when he logged in the Facebook display this message. "We'll take a look at your documents and let you know as soon as we've processed your request."

Would the DMV let me wear green eyeliner to take my ID pic?

I'm pretty sure you could =]

I remember I died my hair before I took my state ID and on my ID under the word "hair" he put dyed, instead of brown. LMAO! I thought that was funny

WHAT TO WEAR FOR YOUR STATE ID PICTURE?

The best thing to wear is a basic white or black tee-shirt and jeans. The tee-shirt is best because, if you go dressy, you may not look like yourself just driving out to go get a cup of coffee or something. Also, to much color is bad because it may make your body look disproportionate with the colored backing. For makeup, be real simple, just a more enhanced version of yourself, because if you get too done up, you won't look like that on a regular day. For hair, simple, probably a simple ponytail so you can easily just put it up if you need to. And smiling is best, because many people get so nervous around police they smile, plus, it's nice to have a good picture whenever you show your ID. Hope that helps!

I hate my ID pic!?

i like it. i look cute in it. im wearing my glasses in the picture but my glasses broke so when i get carded by indians, they say "no specs"? lmao

Are you not allowed to smile when you take your military ID picture?

I smiled on mine lol

Are you aloud to wear makeup for your id picture?

Yes you can, but keep it neat and clean... Something like a little thin line of eyeliner & mascara, some blush and a tad bit of sheer lip gloss is fine. You don't want to look too different from how you look without makeup because that could cause security problems.

Will Walmart cash my check if I bring a temporary ID, copy of a drivers license, and an SS card?

Yeah they’ll cash it at the money center if it’s a “professional” sort of check. I.e., drawn on a corporation’s bank, not just handwritten from “Joe’s Plumbing” to “John Smith” it should be a printed check (the sort a company’s accountant draws up and delivers to the boss on payday) and accompanied by all the proper data; an ID with picture (even temporary/paper ID is fine if it’s not expired), and the payer and payee are local, and the bank too, or at least a big national bank like Wells Fargo or Bank of America. Nowadays they can just run the check through their computer to immediately verify the funds are there, all those little details are in that microscopic print on the check that really just looks like an irregular line but extremely close inspection will show it has numbers/text written on it, which also lets the cashier know if the check’s good to accept for a purchase, instead of like the old days where they just took it then hoped for the best, but if they got burned the bank might cover the check then bill the accountholder for the amount plus a service charge, or even submit it to the district attorney’s office. That happened to me once when I was just living on my own for the first time, I bounced a check accidentally (because a check I deposited someone gave me ended up bouncing) so I soon received a call from the DA explaining I had to come to the court house and pay it up plus some not insignificant fees or I’d have a warrant issued after a couple weeks or so.

Can I wear a hair tie/scarf in my state ID picture?

Social anxiety/agoraphobia prevented me from obtaining my permit and license. Now I am 18 and I need ID to take the GED.

My hair is really damaged and breaking due to neglect so I wear a scarf over it almost like I am going to sleep or bohemian-like. It doesn't obstruct my face and you can see my hairline.

Would I be able to wear this in a photo? I know Muslim women are allowed to don their scarves but if it isn't for religious reasons, can you still wear one?

Just fixing my hair is out of question, even if I went to a high end salon. Anxiety won't let me leave thehouse without it.

What apps identify plants if you take a picture of the plant?

Current best rated expert-based mobile app is called FlowerChecker which uploads taken photo to team of botanists. Then it displays their answer (so it is paid and human-based).For free automatic identification, there is a web service Plant.id which can identify 8000 most common species with ~ 80% accuracy. It is basically cutting-edge of image recognition. There are also other apps, with lower ratings and different pricing worth trying. To summarise:FlowerChecker (Android and iOS) expert-based and paid,Plant.id (web service) free and machine-learning based,PlantNet Plant Identification (Android) fully automatic,Garden Compass (iOS) both automatic and human-based,Leafsnap (iOS) more like field guide,GardenAnswers (Android) both automatic and human-based.

Are the police allowed to take pictures of me on their phones? When I said I didn't have my ID he noted down my address, phone number and etc before taking a picture of me on his Note 3. Could I have refused to give my info and my picture?

Yes, this may have been inappropriate. You may wish to contact the police department and ask to speak with a watch commander or someone in the upper ranks of the department's hierarchy. If they don't quote you a specific area of your state legislative code that allows officers to take the photo of people who they simply stop and not detain or arrest, file a complaint against the officer. If they attempt to stonewall you or slow the process, contact your city attorney or the mayor/city manager's office.Going forward, in addition to bringing your identification with you, if/when you are stopped by the police, if they inform you that there have been any crimes committed in the area, you need to ask them what that has to do with you. I would also ask if they are accusing you committing or being a suspect and if they are stopping ALL pedestrians who are waking or jogging in the area at night. You should do this in a calm and a non-confrontational manner and if you don't get the correct answers to your inquires, I would also file a complaint because of that. The police aren't required to take pictures of everybody they encounter and the officer may not use yours in the manner that his/her job requires.
