1000$ down payment on personal loan of $3000?
So I'm 18 YO, I've been with CU1 for about 9 months (payments always on time), Employed for year and a half full time, and I want to take out a personal loan for $3000. I need the money to contribute to a big first family reunion taking place this nxt month but I'm paying in advance to help them set up early. Also, ofcourse, I'm keeping a little bit of change for myself to hold me until I'm back home. With 1000$ down, Is it possible I'll get approved ? My credit is probably 600 last time I checked

Im 18, i have a job but i work on 1099 and haven't filed for anything yet so i have no proof of my income. i asked my boss for a paystub to show the bank (i was in the process of getting a loan there) but instead he gave me a letter of employment and said it would be just as good. But, it failed. I make 900 a month, i could easily make $295 monthly payments on a $5,000 loan (2 year w/36% interest rate) or something along those lines. i tried prosper but they denied me as well. Also i dont plan on blowing the money on a car or apartment or clothes or other typical 18 year old stuff. I just need a nice lump a cash to buy a good inventory for my part time ebay business. I flip cell phones and ipods, but right now its just hard to balance that money and my personal money (gas, food, phone bill, car insurance, my internet, my cat and all the other random stuff that comes up in life). Anyone know a decent place or website that could help me out with something like this? or how do i go about proving i have income without a paystub on 1099? Any info would be great! Thanks
