Need Help With Tattoo Ideas (pics)?
from what I've heard matching tats is more of a curse on the relationship...instead of out right matching I've seen 2 ways of getting the same effect 1) switch, something your friend really likes you get and something you really like they get, make sure it's something that both of you can live with 2) find something that you have in common and take your own versions on it, my husband and i have a pentacle on our right shoulder, however he has a yin yang thing with 2 animals he feels drawn to and i have a crescent moon with draping ivy so although exact matching is something I'm against if you follow thru with something like the 2 examples i gave it may not represent friendship to everyone who sees your tat but it links you and your friend regardless of what others think
Help with tattoo ideas?
I've been wanting to get tatted for a while now and I know what I want the theme to be but I need help with some ideas. I want two tattoos, one on each wrist. I'm mixed race, half black and half Mexican so I wanted to show pride. I want a Mexican pride symbol on one wrist and a black pride symbol on the other. I don't know what symbols I should use though. Does anyone have any ideas?

The Beatle's "Blackbird" Tattoo Idea, Need Help!?
I've known I wanted to get a tattoo relating to The Beatles for a long time now, and have finally settled on an idea. I've decided to get a small blackbird (representing their song Blackbird, of course!). I want the blackbird to be all black and basically a silhouette of a blackbird. if done by a good tattoist it would look awesome but before doing it i would recommend u find a good tattoist that specialises in tats like this so the dimensions turn out good and it looks good and not flat.also it will be a hefty fee as it will be a long sit for a tat so start saving.....hehehe

Okay, I'll be really honest. I promise i'm not just slapping your idea down. 'I'll follow you into the dark' that sounds really sinister to me. That sounds like a threat. It sounds like death, it sounds like a suicide pact. I hate the idea of you symbolizing love between a mother and daughter with a quote about death. That's to me. I can't tell you if you are likely to regret it because I don't know you, but I have to be honest, the differences between the meaning fo the song, and what you are trying to relate it to, make it a hell of a stretch. In my opinion. I think you summed up the situation yourself.....'i feel like i could never express enough my love for her....' Stop trying. Your dedication to your mum doesn't need to be words, certainly these words are a bit odd. You are obviously thinking it through really hard, and that's really good. I just wonder about the sentiment of this exact phrase. He is singing about a lover. That's conditional love, Romantic love. It is different to a love between a Mother and a child, which is unconditional love. In changing the meaning, you kind of make it meaningless. Also bear in mind that in 30 years, Death Cab for Cutie, are almost certainly going to be long gone, and mostly forgotten, so you will just basically have 'If you die, I will kill myself' tattooed randomly on your body. Perhaps it might be a nicer idea to have a symbol of your love for her, rather than words......I like the idea that most of my tattoos are not obvious. I know why I have them, but no onee else does unless I tell them (mostly) And lets face it, it isno body's business! try to think of something subtle, that will not date, that signifies how you feel about your Mum.
