Teenage Girl Weight Loss Buddy Needed

Teen girl as weight loss buddy? 30-50+ pounds?

Now i'm standing at 5'2 and need to lose at most 50-60 pounds. I'm not going to do this in a short amount of time but ASAP.

I want a weight loss buddy so we can set up something like goal of the week, amount of calories to consume, keep track of weight loss, and motivate each other. We'll do whatever it take to get rid of it (:
Usually I'd think this is lame but I always need motivation to keep going. Hopefully somebody else out there feels the same way.

Perhaps more than one person too and we can make it a group thing! BUT I NEED YOU TO BE DETERMINED TO STICK TO THIS AND KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF. If not then don't bother. If you think your interested then do contact me.

SO POST YOUR EMAILS HERE SO I CAN GET BACK TO YOU. If not email me at
yumizune@yahoo.com

OH YA. I'm sticking around people clos to my age. so 13-17
(:

Teen weight loss buddy with kik?

Hey!
In my opinion I weigh far to much and I am embarrassed to get into my ballet leotard so I would like a friendly and helpful workout buddy who I can talk to via kik. If kik isn't possible then via email but for that you will have to ask me personally somehow...
I want to help someone as well but I also really want to feel more comfortable in my own body. I am NOT looking for an Ana buddy.
Kik: Wolfy225
Thank you

What is the diagnosis of a teenager losing hair and weight loss?

What if a teenage boy around 14, had hair loss and lost weight about 4 pounds of normal weight, what diagnosis is that? Is it cancer, lukekimia, or something else? If it's cancer or lukekimia what stage is this? Tell me real facts! :))

How can I get motivated and lose fat as a teenager?

Buddy, I had this same problem a few months ago. I absolutely hated the feeling.Here’s what I did, and everyone is different. I looked in the mirror, yep, that’s all I did. (aside from being made fun of by Lexi, that helped too) I saw myself in that mirror and was absolutely mortified, I was DISGUSTING! I was so sick of being a fat nobody, and I wanted people to like me. BOOM! I started working out like it was nobody’s business, within the first 2 weeks I lost 15 pounds, and started packing on PURE MUSCLE. After a couple of months, I saw a change, in my mood, my charisma, and definitely my look! Seeing my body change is what keeps me going, I’ve been into fitness before, but just not like this. I was hooked, I couldn’t get enough.And guess who couldn’t get enough of me, Lexi. She wouldn’t shut up about how hot I was. People actually wanted to be around me!As far as dieting goes, some people already know what I say about it, but I’m going to say it again. DO NOT beat yourself up if you eat something bad, you forgive yourself and let it go. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going!A bonus is getting way stronger, when I first started I could hardly bench 25 pounds, now 250 pounds is nothing to me. Just keep going, and your future self will thank you for not stopping.

How can a teen girl tone her body fast?

Hi MeaMea,

Step 1: Commit To A Plan: Before you can see results with ANY sort of exercising or weight loss, you need to AGREE with yourself that you are going to follow a PLAN.

This doesn't have to be something huge, but just know that you're going to have to follow through. Even though it can be fun, and it won't be THAT grueling like lifting weights and all that boring stuff, you still have to commit! Are you serious about getting toned? That's the question!

Step 2: Figure out what you like to do that can also tone your body: People never think about this kind of stuff because we're all brainwashed to buy the newest abs workout product. But if you really want to get toned, the answer is doing something that you LIKE that ALSO gets you toned. So what do you like to do? Here are a few of MANY activities that can get you toned while you have FUN and socialize:

* Dancing (Awesome way to get toned. Works out your butt, legs, thighs, waste, abs)
* Tennis (One of the absolute best sports for your entire health)
* Roller-blading (Very fun, works out your muscles)
* Jogging (Jog with a partner, or a friend, or a romantic buddy. Up hills is incredible to get toned, too)
* Basketball
* Riding a bicycle can do your body wonders
* Boxing

There are a LOT of activities that can tone your body. The "work out" stuff really helps too, but on how to tone your body, any of the above (and others like it) can REALLY get you toned QUICKLY. One of the keys of doing something you LIKE is that you'll do it for a LONG TIME and VERY EFFICIENTLY without noticing it. For instance, if you're cycling with a best friend just talking and stuff, imagine how much time will pass before you "get bored?"

Step 3: Mix It Up: This is the part where you really just maintain the cardio exercises that tone your body up. Basically, to help you not get bored. If you play tennis every day for a month, you may get bored with it. Mix it up. Go to the night club with some friends and dance the night away... Do some swimming, it's absolutely amazing for your health. Some jogging around the neighborhood is great too!

Teen Diet Buddy?

Hey all! I am a 15 year old girl looking to loose 20 lbs to get down to a healthy weight. I plan to do it mostly thru eating healthy and exercising a lot. I have not been very good at dieting before and I hope that having support will help me achieve my goal weight. If you are in a similar situation as mine and want to be a my buddy then email me at leighharrison00@gmail.com ! I was also thinking that if there are multiple people who want to join then we could set up some kind of online group forum.

Thanks!

Why can't I gain weight as a teen boy?

Hmmm, this sounds familiar.  I was just talking to someone about a similar situation this week.  If you're still growing (taller), that's part of why you're not putting on muscle weight - your body is using what you're eating to make you taller right now.  So you have to give your body more to work with.First, lay off any cardio.  That burns calories, and you need to conserve calories.Do weight training.  Actual weights.  Push-ups.  Sit-ups.  Pull-ups.  Isometrics.  Rowing machine (slowly, with high resistance - don't go for speed records).  Gardening.  Move furniture.  Swimming, if you like that.  Biking (slowly, with high resistance; actual or on a stationary bike).  Slow and steady.If you're a teen, don't take those supplements and stuff.  Eat real food, as someone else here advised.  Lots of protein.  Meat, nuts, fish.  Try to increase your appetite - eat a little more of the protein than you normally would at meals; eat more frequently.    Keep stuff around to snack on, and push yourself to have a few bits here and there.  The muscle has to come from somewhere, either stuff going into your body or stuff already in your body.Since you're a teen and apparently have an amazingly quick metabolism, you can eat some junkier food too.  Lucky you!  I'd love to have that problem.
