I am in a similar situation and I can tell you that e-mails, letters and calling did not work for me. However, in my opinion, it is the only way to communicate, so do it. In my situation, I have decided to do anything I need to do to try and fix the situation. They have now labeled my a psycho for writing so many e-mails, but if I don't I feel as if I'm giving up on my daughter and that is not an option. They live apart from me and I was only talking to her twice a week by skype. But then the husband and his family got involved and were insulted that I did not want to visit with his family, so all contact has now been cut off in order to punish me for not visiting. Although it is not a comfort at all, know that there are many mothers out there that are in a similar situation. Do what you have to do. Call her today and make another appointment for lunch.
How do I write a reconciliation letter to my sister?
My sister & I haven't gotten 2gether for about 5 years. It was getting unbearable after enduring too much from her. I'ld like to write her a nice letter and would like help with what to say. I want to reconciliate and pave the way with this letter but don't know how to write it. She wasn't very open to talking about our problems but didn't want to stop talking to me. It is my heartfelt desire to develop a good relationship with her, I just don't want her to treat me the same way she has in the past, she hurt me time after time and didn't think much of it. She's very touchy and doesn't like to be told she has done anything wrong. Basically, I'm the oldest and even though she has acquired much she was envious of me.
