Orphan Files for for Sims 2?
The only reccommendation I have, and one you're not going to like, is to move your downloads folder to your desktop, then make a new one in its place. Then move each item from the old downloads folder to the new one, one by one, and keep checking to see what shows up and what doesn't. I would also reccommend making sub-folders, and quite possibly sub-folders IN the other sub-folders: so like have one for clothes, but inside the clothes folder you have "Casual/Everyday, Formal, PJs" and such. I've had to sort through my downloads one by one before, and let me tell you, it's a *****. I know its not the easiest method, but it is by far the best. Even if it does take forever.

What is deleting orphan file record segment 10077?
Files are store in one or more blocks on your hard drive, approximately 4097 bytes long. The bigger the file the more blocks (or segments) allocated to it. Sometimes an error happens and an allocated block is no longer needed but is not freed on the disk. So, it becomes an orphan - not allocated to a file. This is why you run chkdsk to pick up the strays and make them available for reuse.
