The other day I sat and talked with a young woman for a while. She talked about how she enjoyed life, how life had been especially kind to her and how much she appreciated all her blessings. She did not know how she could ever give back enough in her life to make up for all her good fortune. I kept looking at her eyes as this took place. They shined, with such a radiance that I can't remember ever seeing such sheer beauty in a person's countenance. She was a visage of innocence, unscathed by the real world. A feeling of peace came over me that usually is reserved for times that I am alone with nature. When we were finished, it was time for her to go. She got up and walked over to her helper who wheeled her away, it's not easy to walk thru the jungle when you're blind. ..
Can you tell me something about your best friend?
My best friend is named Mona, she is the same age as I am, 49 she'll be 50 soon, she lives in CO. with her hubby. She has been my best friend for 13 years now. She is kind, caring, loving, a big heart & would do anything in the world for me, as I would do the same for her! I too couldn't imagine my life with out her. The good thing about all this, her hubby & my hubby are best friends too! Double whammy there! :o)
Can you tell me something good about your day?
Well, for starters I woke up above ground. At 62 you just can't be sure that's going to happen every day. So, if you wake up and there ain't anybody sholveling dirt on you, you're off to a good start.But, the highlight of my day so far just happened.There's somebody that I met here on Quora that I've grown especially fond of. I'm in the US, she's in England. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think a phone call between us would be possible, but she made it happen.It's like we've known each other for years, because actually, we have. Over the last several years Quora has provided us with a platform to bare our souls free of judgement and condescension. Kelley Spartiatis and I have shared intimate stories about ourselves over the years, something we never would have done it in person.And yes, she's the real deal, every bit the Kelley we've come to know and love.And, if some of your ears were burning, it was for good reason.

Is this more mature: When something good or great happens to you, to not tell everyone showing off but to keep it to yourself? Why or why not?
My personality type is INFJ, the least showing off person, We have elderly wisdom. The rest you can read for yourself. So in simple terms I will tell you this.‘The more inexperienced you are, The more you show-off.’ Yes it is absolutely mature to keep everything to yourself, not only if something good happens, but the griefs as well.Women hate whining men, Men hate whining boys, No one likes a whining person.The more you crave for attention the less attention will be given to you.The less you try to show-off the more respect you will gain.Bragging is only appropriate with close friends, when playing any sports or videogame.Acting too mature also portrays being immatureTrying to put yourself first is immature.Putting others first and then somehow indirectly letting them know you put them first is also immature,Putting others first and keeping it to yourself is mature.
