Tell Me The Name Of That Fps Game

How can I tell my fps in games?

Several options (that I’m familiar with):On NVIDIA cards, press “Alt + Z” to bring up the GeForce overlay, then click the cogwheel, then “HUD settings”, then “FPS counter” and choose which corner you want it in. There’s probably something similar for AMD cards.Use a program like FRAPS.Some monitors can show you the current refresh rate, which, if you’re using FreeSync or G-Sync, will be the same as your frame rate. You can enable this in the menus of the monitor.

Good names to use in a fps game?

I play a lot of fps games but i have to settle for the crappy names like herpes91912931923192 ownage2224324324r and your mom21312334324, so does anyone have any good names i could use in a game maybe?

How do I unlock my game’s FPS?

Thank you for the request to answer! I believe it is my first request ever, you could say I'm moving up in the world.Your GPU can certainly handle 60+ on many games - the problem is probably with the game itself.Someone wrote in their answer that Xbox Game DVR may be interfering, but I have never disabled the program and it never interferes in any of my game, which makes me think this is not the issue. Many games, for the sake of console parity (making things equal between console and PC) will lock their games to 30 FPS, since that was what the last generation of consoles (X360, PS3) could realistically and reliably handle. However, there is always almost certainly a way to change it through a configuration file of some sort.Given that frame-locked games are very rare nowadays, I would imagine your game is a few years old or more - someone is bound to have had this issue in the past. Plug your game into google, something like “[game name] 30 fps fix pc” - someone somewhere will have figured out a solution, which may be more involved or less involved than you expect.Good luck!

What name originated for FPS games Conquest or Domination?

Me and my friend are in an arguement because he says the name Domination is the true name for Conquest which I am defending. When you talk to someone what would you refer it to? I think he's just defending his Call of Duty and I know Conquest is the name in Battlefield and Conquest Domination. But seriously Conquest came wayyyyyy before Battlefield 3. So tell me... What do you think?

During gaming, can you tell the difference between 60fps and 30fps?

Not really. The difference is mainly due to the game appearing to be constantly smooth. This hides the fact that there are frame rate dips and variances. That is the main reason high frame rates became so desirable. If you had a high frame rate it would hide the dips which could drop you into the 20s or 30s fps. There is no competitive advantage. Even if you wanted to argue that it allows for better reaction time there are a host of other factors that affect that hypothesis. Network latency (you can have 200FPS but if you have 500ms latency then you are dead already - even though your screen was technically drawing 200FPS all while someone was shooting you to death). Input lag (keyboard, mouse, gamepad) issues. CPU and game loop issues (commands not processing fast enough on your specific machine). You see, it’s all these things, and the complexity of games, in the last 10 years or so, that caused us to reach for higher frame rates. There was significant variability in performance, depending on what setup you had, and how detailed the environment was in the game world you were playing, so it became desirable to have a 50–60fps+ gaming experience. This reduced the chance that we would see the dreaded frame stuttering that so many began to see as games became more complex but hardware became so varied (and many people simply didn’t have a system up to snuff). We didn’t see this in consoles, for example, b/c they were all the same. And therefore they stayed at 30fps for a long time.It was only fairly recently with the latest generation of gaming technology, competition with PC platforms, and the latest gaming hardware, that consoles have begun to see these frame rate variances in many games and have had to move to ever more powerful graphic engines/processors. Examples would be: PS4 Pro, Xbox S, Xbox One X, Wii U, etc… These were all just upgrades to already existing current gen consoles but they were badly needed to keep up with bleeding edge gaming technology and to up the ante to 60fps (in some cases). And, again, that 60fps is simply to avoid the frame rate dipping variances that will undoubtedly occur from time to time as you wade through a game worlds rich, detailed, environments which reduces our overall experience of “smoothness”.

Do FPS shooting games make you better with a gun?

I’ve been playing FPS games since the original Wolfenstein. I shudder to think of how many hours I’ve logged just in the Call of Duty series alone. I’ve been lucky enough to go to great ranges that rent exotic weapons, and have fired hundreds of rounds through pretty much every “cool” gun in the series - AK 47 and AK74; M60 and M249, M16 and M4, P90, Dragunov, Barrett .50, MP5, Steyr Aug, etc. Here’s what FPS gaming did for me regarding all of those guns: It let me visually identify them and know how many rounds they carry in their respective magazines. The games do nothing regarding helping my accuracy, they don’t give you a real idea of how much they kick, and they sure as hell don’t show you how heavy they are. Try running with a Barrett .50 and an AK47 and a bunch of ammo for both. What the games can do, though, is give you a VERY rudimentary sense of tactics, such as “Gee, if I go out in that wide open area I’ll get shot. Better to hide behind a car or a pile of sandbags.”I guess maybe the games do show you that it’s much easier to stay on target shooting single shot vs. full auto, but they don’t really show how inaccurate you get if you just hold the trigger down and dump 30 rounds of 7.62 at a target. The only area that’s probably close is with the sniper rifles. In the game, if you put the dot on the target, you hit it if they aren’t moving. True story: I took a friend to the range who had never shot a gun at all. His first shot ever from any gun was from a Dragunov rifle at I believe 10 yards. First shot was dead center on the bullseye. His next 4 weren’t too far off the mark, either. So if a game shows that a sniper rifle is deadly accurate at 10 yards or less, well, they are.

What would be a good gaming username?

notcringy1That would be a fairly obvious one although probably not one you’re looking.Your name Pol Dartasr is pretty cool but if that’s you’re real name I can understand why you wouldn’t want to use it.Coming up with a username is fairly difficult. I had a username which I absolutely loved which I used back with diablo 1, 2 and Starcraft we’re out. I’ve since dropped the name, left online gaming for about 10 years, came back and found out there were three people who used my old user name, two of which are still active. One still uses it for gaming as far as I know and the other claims it has a Twitter handle. The gamer uses a variation of it on Twitter.I have settled on another user name (pretty original) for myself but I don’t really play online games any more. It’s more light-hearted than my old name. I’m also pretty annoyed that I let the name go and the others couldn’t come up with original names, but hey stuff happens. I thought my old name was pretty darn original.I can’t come up with a name for you but how I came up with my names? The first was focusing on an emotion I constantly expressed as a teenager and tying it into the game Diablo’s hell theme.RageofHades.The second name, is more of a light hearted name and I came up with it as a troll for friends I used to game with. They wanted a serious name like Rathgar the buccaneer or some crap. Since I wasn’t feeling it, I decided onwalls2theball.

What do Jehovah's Witnesses Have to say about "FPS" Games?

I used to play a game called Halo. Many know that it is a FPS (first person shooter) but it's also known to be a really kid-based shooter where usually little kids play it all the time, and a LOT of Jehovah's Witnesses play it, and even more let their kids play it. I'm just confused. I'm 15, who was addicted, but now I've cleaned up my life, and I will REFUSE to go back to being addicted. I just want to enjoy it every other day you know?

So considering the fact that the game really isn't bad, but however it still is a shooter, do you think I could play it under my mothers approval? Will Jehovah hate me?

Questions you may have:
Am I a Jehovahs Witness?
Yes.

Am I a baptised witness?
No.

Do I respect my mothers opinion about the game?
Yes. I have the games inside my room, and my mom trusts me, and I deeply respect what she feels.
