Territory War Between Two Girls

At any point in history have women ever been responsible for initiating a war?

The 3 previous answers here are all illuminating, but another woman that can be added to the list is Queen Louisa of Mecklenburg, wife of King Frederick William of Prussia. She pressured her husband into a war against Napoleon (unwisely, but not without some justification) after Prussia’s would be allies, Russia and Austria, had already been defeated. After hard fighting the Prussians lost the twin battles (they were fought on the same day) of Jena and Auerstadt, but it was the relentless pursuit of the defeated Prussians by French cavalry, lead by Prince-Marshal Murat, that delivered the coup-de-grace to Prussian hopes. Thousands of Prussian troops were marched into captivity, equaling Prussian losses in the two battles. Also Marshal Bernadotte, who had not performed well earlier and was eager to redeem himself, inflicted further defeats upon the Prussians. In the aftermath the Queen personally pleaded with Napoleon for lenient terms for Prussia, but Napoleon was determined to make an example of his defeated enemy and confiscated half of Prussia’s territory. By some accounts the Queen pressured her husband to declare war on Napoleon by withholding sexual relations until he agreed.Source: Essential Histories, The Napoleonic Wars, The Rise of the Emperor 1805–1807, Todd Fisher, Osprey Publishing.

Is there a resentment in Japan towards the United States because of World War II?

When I was stationed on Okinawa, several times in my career, ethnic Japanese for sure disliked us intensely. They basically had a sign that said “Dogs and Marines stay off the grass.” They would take our money. They certainly didn't want us talking to their women (which was fine me, I prefer blondes and redheads. I don't find Asian women attractive even a little bit.You see the Japanese are some of the biggest racists in the world (all Japanese? No of course not but, it is a cultural norms.) They believe that they racially superior to other Asian's. They call us “gaijin” which is translated as foreigners but in reality would be like walking up to a black person and saying “Negro” or worse (try being a Brother over there, there were Hooker's who refused to take “dark green Marines”. That really pissed me off, I fought next time a man and he isn't “allowed” to have a beer while sitting next to a white. I have nothing against prostitution or girls who do it. I was married my whole career, and I didn't go with them. My Wife was being loyal to me, I was to her. There is nothing more important to me than loyalty. I have these words below my Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. “Meine Ehre heibst treue, it means “Loyalty is my Honor” (yes, I know not nice people used those exact words.)My long winded way for me to say, I was a Marine SNCO. I am going to take my Marines. When the Japs would say Hiroshima and Nagasaki I would say:Battan, Pearl harbor, Midway, the Coral Sea, Iwo Jima and then I apologise for the nukes we were doing a better chance of them dying for the Emperor with LeMays fire bombs campaign. We should have given them a real reason and hung Hirohito and each and every Officer. A little of what we gave the Germans. The Germans who looked and acted like us and who had not murdered our POW's.

What happens if a country loses a war?

Say country A loses against country B. What does country B do? Could it really possibly take over a country? FORCE people to live in a different way? Probably MILLIONS of people? Will they rape country A's women and take away people's homes and money? I know it probably depends on the circumstances of why the war started in the first place. What can I study to be able to conclude this?

I don't know much about warfare but I feel like in centuries before that would happen, but what would happen now? There were a lot less people and warfare was way different too.

What is a good duet song for two lovers that are miles apart?

I'm writing a story and I have a scene where the two main characters may sing a song or a song may fit the scene for them.
So the setting is in more of a village on a hill side that was about to go into war. The main female character appears before the enemy and makes a deal with them saying that she would go with them, if they were to leave the village alone and never make war again with them in return. The enemy agrees and takes her away to their own land. The main male character then realizes about three days or so after that day that he loves the main female and wants to fight to get her back. During her time in the enemy territory, the female wonders if what she did was right and looks to the night sky. He looks out his main window and does the same. There's a section in the story that will change point of views, from the male to the female or either way.
I'm thinking of a song that soft like 'somewhere out there' but with more emotion, like longing and sadness. The top two genres that I can think of are New Age and Country. If anyone knows of songs like that, please let me know?
