There aren't any websites which will tell you the identity of the mobile phone number holder (Data Protection Act). If you're on Pay As You Go, you can't block specific numbers from calling/texting you.. but if you're on Contract then call your network provider and they'll block it for you. As for the person who's texting you, call them back on withheld number and try to find out who they are. What kinda texts are they sending? 'Cos I don't know much about USA but in UK, the police will only get involved if the texts are in fact of a harrassing and threatening nature.. Most of the time, it's just someone pranking you/trying to be funny so they don't do much. Text back to ask who it is and if they don't answer, then ignore them simple as 'cos if they were genuine then they'd answer your calls and texts. Otherwise, just ignore them and they should get the hint and move on to their next victim. DON'T let them see you get worked up about it 'cos if it is a pranker, that's exactly what they want to see.. They feed off of other people getting vexed over their prank calls lol. Good luck.

AJust take note that if you were blocked by someone, they should not be getting any text from you.However, if you really need to pass an urgent message across to that individual, (which I am strongly against this) there's an awesome way of sending them a message which will directly appear on their phone without them even needing to open their SMS application or doing anything to view your message. It will appear directly on their phone even if it's locked.It is called a Class 0 Flash Message. What it does is to send your message to the recipient in a format that will appear as a pop up notification ok their phone. Similar to the way how the function of ‘Cell Broadcast’ appears on your mobileI can only tell you the type of text message it's called & you can always search at PlayStore / App Store for ‘Flash SMS’ for both Android, iOS or even Symbian phones. No, if you block someone on iphone they will neither receive your texts nor calls. Also, if you have blocked them and you dont have any social media like facebook or whatsapp, they would never come to know of this and whenever they call you, they will get a busy tone. So, after blocking that person you are actually cutting off all the means to contact that person.

Blocked someone, still texting me?
Ok so I'm on Verizon (I have an iphone.) and this guy was texting me and he's a real creep. I tried going on Verizon Wireless and blocking him through spam controls, but somehow he still texted me! I don't know what to do and he's starting to scare me so any help would be really appreciated! Yes I'm positive I have his number right and I entered it several times just to make sure that I hadn't messed up. Please help!!!

Lets say someone has AT&T and they blocked your number as far as you sending them texts and calls goes, would you get a message saying they blocked you and would you get a message saying they blocked you if you tried calling them?
