How can you say thank you for answering?

If you are talking about here, someone recently thanked me for an answer using COMMENT, and I really appreciated that she took time to do that

What is the answer for “thank you for your concern”?

I would have answered an “one- liner”, “ thank you” . But, my one liners are deemed as violation of this forum’s policies, so, I will try to make it bigger and more helpful. When people say this they may actually be telling you to leave them alone because they found your concern phoney or they may actually seriously be grateful that you are concerned and mean business .“Concern” as against the negative emotion “worry” really calls for actions. If I am genuinely concerned about someone I would offer whatever help I may have within my capacity.Like, sometime back I went to see my schoolmate in a hospital. He was in coma after an accident and his son was obviously incurring substantial expenses. I was really concerned and wanted to be of some help in terms of even helping financially myself and/or even pulling-in some of our common class friends.I took his son aside away from others and asked him in low voice if he was okay financially. He said thank you uncle but we are good. I said, “ fine, but please don’t hesitate to tell me in case you need anything . Will definitely try to do what I can. He obviously read concern in my body language which is very important part of communication. One doesn’t have to say I am concerned. That sounds so phoney.

How do you say Thank you for answering my question on Yahoo Answers in Spanish?

Gracias por responder mi pregunta en Yahoo respuestas

Do we say thank you for your kind answers?

Yes, that is something you can say in English. However, make sure that you use it only when the content of the answer is kind (that is, when someone says something kind to you in the answer or expresses himself of herself in a kind manner). If someone is kind enough to answer a question on Quora about English grammar, that is not a "kind answer." That is a neutral answer from a kind person. In such a situation you might say: "Thank you for being kind enough to answer my question." However, this addition to the sentence is really unnecessary, since "thank you" is already an acknowledgement of the person's kindness. It is enough to say: "Thank you (for your answers)." You may want to use some adjective other than "kind" to describe the answers. So you might say: "Thank your for your detailed answers," or "Thank your for your insightful answers," or something similar.

Do you thank people for answering your questions on Quora?

Do we have to thank you for every answer we receive from Quora users? No, Quora is a question and answer site. Its whole existence revolves around the spread of knowledge from those who know and have answers, to those who want to know and have questions. If a question is asked, and you don’t know the answer, just pass on it - you don’t have any sort of responsibility to answer if you don’t know. Similarly, if several answers are written for a question, and you have first hand knowledge that you believe would add some further value, then you should write your own answer, rather than just add comments to other people’s answers. If someone has been particularly helpful with their answer to “your” question, then you can either:Upvote their answerThank themor both - but there is no compunction that you “must” do any of these. It’s a bit like going to work - your employer has to pay you for the work you do, but he doesn’t need to thank you for coming in every day…Although sometimes, it’s nice when he does, and lets you know he appreciates your work…:-D

If someone says "thank you bro" what do you answer it with?

The obvious answer is ‘You are welcome’.I don’t see the reason to say ‘It’s okay’ or ‘No Problem’ or ‘Mention Not’.Thank you is used to express gratitude. None of those answers, as per me, is apt when someone expresses their gratitude. When we say ‘You are welcome’, it is akin to saying ‘You are welcome to my help’.Another response you could give is, ‘I know you would do the same too’. This response inspires them to help someone else (or help you). You are telling them that you believe they are good too which kind of brings some warmth to your relationship. Now, as the other answers hinted, if your issue is with the ‘bro’ part of it, I don’t think it’s a big deal. You needn’t add a suffix just because they did.
