Conversation history not working...?
Hi nero6370, I'm sorry to hear that your IMs and SMS messages are not being saved in your Conversation History. There's a possibility that this was an account issue. I've performed some maintenance and hopefully that corrected the issue for you. If the issue persists, it's likely not an account issue. In this case, I recommend trying the troubleshooting steps listed in the following Help article: "Messenger Troubleshooting Procedures" (link below) If those steps don't resolve the issue either, please see the article "Why are messages missing from my Conversation History archive?" (link below) for further information, including how you can contact Customer Care regarding the issue. What is the green dot next to the phone icon on messenger?
No, it just means that the person is available to take a call. For example, I have the messenger app on Windows and the green dot appears next to the phone icon when that person is online. It is not there for an offline person. Normally, when you want to call someone and they are in another call, it would give you a notification to call back later.In a sense, it is kind of ambiguous, as it definitely confirms the online status but in terms of call availability, it can depend.Just an example photo.

**UPDATE #3** Yes, I know... Another update. Although, this is a good one! We have verified that the Yahoo! Messenger engineering team has resolved the Conversation History problem. All Conversations should now be viewable in it's entirety. Please clear your browser cache and cookies and try again. Remember that the Conversation History in Yahoo! If I delete a message on WhatsApp without reading it will the sender know? Or think it hasn't been read?
This is tricky.It depends where you are deleting the message from. By that, i mean which screen you are at in the char app.If you open the scree where you can see the person’s message with the other messages and delete it from there, the person will see that it has not been read.However, if you go to the person’s chat wall and delete it from there, it will be marked as read.Hope this helps!
Why can I see some people's names but not others on WhatsApp groups?
WhatsApp has three privacy options1) Everyone: When you chose to set this option. Anyone can see your profile pic, status and last seen. (If you selected these all three to everyone).2) My contacts: As the name suggest only those contacts can see your details which you added up in your contact list. No matter they saved yours or not!3) Nobody: No one can see your details. Total private.When someone drops a message in the WhatsApp group and you haven't saved their contact in your phone. The name they saved in their WhatsApp will begin to show.(Their name will begin to show only when they drop a message in the WhatsApp group.)
Will using a VPN prevent you from getting hacked through your computer and phone?
The right answer is NO. VPNs encrypt traffic from point A (VPN Client) to point B (VPN Server). This traffic won't be easily decrypted that much is true but from point B to the web page or service you are connecting to the traffic can be sniffed, decrypted or in risk of man in the middle attacks (so now you have to consider TLS or other mediums of encryption from point B to the service). As you can see you are only tunneling your connections via the VPN but the traffic goes through. If you installed malware it will connect back to it's control server via your vpn tunnel. Traffic coming into your computer (scans, xploits, etc.) will still go thru forwarded by the VPN server. Padmanabhan Mahadevan already answered this correctly, even air gapped computers (the ones you purposely don't connect to the network as a security measure) get hacked eventually.So in short, we wish it was that simple to prevent a hack as using a VPN.

Has anyone ever experienced telepathy?
First of all here are some facts. I am not schizophrenic, I have a college education and I am open minded and can experiment with certain ideas to determine if I will believe an idea or not. My question is if anyone has experienced telepathy. There is a woman that I was/am very close to and I have feelings for. There is a shared feeling between us and deep down we love each other but due to circumstances we have not been able to be together. We have moved apart from each other and now I feel almost ashamed to contact her again as the last time we saw each other it was difficult. I realize that it is not healthy to not let go and I have tried but I have a "feeling" that I am not supposed to let her go yet. Call them signs and such ( I do not look for them, when I start to try to let go of her I see these things and it really bothers me). We are friends on facebook. I have always believed that we have this bond, almost "telepathic" and that we understand each other. I sometimes feel happy when I think of her again and what she would think if I were to see her again. There are also feelings of guilt. The other day on facebook, other than just messaging her ( I do not want to upset her because I feel she is trying to move on as well) I just wanted her so badly to talk with me but I knew that actually speaking would be a bad thing for us. In my mind I did this thing where I though I wish you knew how I felt , if you understand how I feel ( I was thinking about her) log off facebook in 10 seconds and sign back on again instantly and then I will do the same. In exactly 10 seconds she signed off and then back on and I did it as well. The exact same time. I have never asked her about this and would not ask her about this because I do not want to lose my credibility as a rational person. My question is from an objective point of view ( offer me criticisms and your opinions). 1. Can stress amplify the feelings of "telepathy" ( if it exists)? 2. Have you ever experienced such a feeling? 3. There is a pressure over the middle of my head after experiencing telepathy? 4. Anything you can tell me? 5. Can my guilts/un-dealt with feelings have anything to do with this? Thanks for your help.
Kids are "sexting" now?
I was skimming through the adolescent section and I came across a young girls question "what do you do while sexting?" I guess we as parents can go about this two ways, one this is good. They aren't having actually sex, there not even with one another. But then again, sexting not only is that awkward and disgusting. I think its lame, are our children really that bored? LOL, and then again by sexting it would be lead on to actual sexual activity. So parents, which way would you go about this? What are your opinons on this? Thanks.
