Thanx For The Advice And I Will Try It Did You See The Whole Post

Why does Yahoo allow questions to be posted on here about how to kill yourself? I do not understand the?

I think YA could do a lot to prevent these types of questions with filters. I've built enough programs in my time to realize how easy this is. Perhaps YA enjoys perpetuating controversial subject matter. I, personally am so tired of seeing "I'm going to kill myself" as a bait to read a question. Then I envision the pitiful type of person who would post such a thing. I know a little about the phenomenon of suicide and doubt someone would take the time to post prior to doing the deed. Those who post such things are attention seekers, probably kids. But then there is the one in a million who is lame enough to actually do it. That's the one we are all afraid for. I wish YA would block certain posts. They have the capability.

Is "thank you for letting me know" correct? Why or why not?

'Thank you for letting me know' is perfectly fine to use in conversations and to me, its grammatically correct as well. At least from the perspective of evolutionary grammar.Although, the most appropriate way is 'Thank you for letting me to know' but hidden 'to' is just fine.

Paying Child Support In Two States, same child...help?

My question involves child support in the State of:

Colorado/Kansas & Texas...

(This is really screwed up, but this is whats going on and I don't know what to do to stop it, ANY advice you can give me will be beneficial and I thank you in advance)

THIS WHOLE POST IS FOR ONE CHILD ONLY

Basically my ex lived in Colorado, this is where the ORIGINAL SUPPORT ORDER was issued and i was paying child support to when things were "normal"...

My Ex then moved to Texas...so for some reason Colorado then turned the case over to Kansas where I live now...

Kansas/Colorado is still charging me for child support
AND
Texas also has been charging me with child support...

The balances for both keep going up the same amount EVERY month for the SAME ONE CHILD, but oddly enough they are different amounts for this same child... ??? ....

For one child I am making payments to Kansas & Texas for over a year now!! How is this legally possible and what can I do about it and get my money put in the correct place. Please help as I have kids and a wife in my home and its very hard to take care of them if that extra money is just being put "somewhere" especially this time of year...and shouldn't I be able to get back what I have paid to Texas OR Colorado since I am paying TWO states for ONE child...

Is it possible that my childs mother maybe didn't report to the prior state she resided in that she moved out of state and is basically collecting two payments for the same child?

I don't know if this matters or not, but I am married and have two children (not related to my ex) in my home full time....Please, Please any advice??

Belgian Malinois 10 points?

When a person posts a question they are inviting opinions on that aspect of dog ownership and the information provided can be dismissed out of hand or considered. An opinion based on years of experience of owning and working with a breed is one to consider as that person will know the reality of what it takes in terms of level of experience, specific personality and lifestyle to meet the needs of the breed to successfully own it.

In your position unless a person knew what breed and bloodlines I wanted, I would be annoyed and not appreciative to be give a breed that I had not researched thoroughly, knew why I wanted it, what I intended to do with it and that I could handle it responsibly and would either ask the person to take it back to wherever it was purchased from or contact breed rescue.

Breed-owner mismatch is the primary reason why intense, high energy working breeds are handed over to rescue and that is good advice to a person who is an amateur owner, with a breed that will not cut a person any slack for making mistakes and be quick to run rings round them as another member said.

It is not a case of optimism and not giving up, but level of experience to handle the breed, lifestyle to meet its needs, personality and having a deep enough pocket to pay for an experienced dog trainer with a reputation to protect to teach you how to train the dog.

If doing what is in the best interest of the dog means temporarily offending a friend, that is what you should do and then find a dog more suited to you based on thorough research.
