Name of 80s female singer?
I'm looking for the name (or title of song) of a female singer from the 80s (or possibly early 90s). She's not that well known and as far as I know she only had 1 hit song (especially in Germany). This song had a music video shot in black and white and is a powerful love ballad. She had longish curly hair and she wore a black leatherish outfit with boots. The video was shot in a home/bedroom I think. I saw her name and title of the song on vh1 classic, but now I can't remember. Any ideas???

I am not of German origin, but was born and raised there.There are different reasons:Germany is a north-european country and embraces his germanic culture to a part, like having viking ancestors and ancestors from other germanic tribes (the men had all long hair)Germany has a really big Metal community (Rammstein is a german band for example) and Metal-heads prefer long hair.German hipster. I think that explains a lot. They'd follow every trend.Germany is less conservative then for ex. USA. There are parts of Germany that are pretty conservative like Bavaria (Germany's Texas), but still almost nobody cares about your hairstyle.Some woman like long hair.Berlin our New York. Although not as sophisticated as N.Y. it has a big community of artists, singers, green people. Look up Anton Hofreiter, member of Germany's green party. I think his hairstyle is unique, in a sense.
