The Cycle Of Death Doesnt Stop Until Notbing Is Created

Christians: I am SCARED to death of the end times, PLEASE HELP ME.?

"I am 18 years old and i am scared to death of the end times..."

-because you have been indoctrinated to a false end times belief.

"End Of The World" like the whole 2012 thing, and i am scared to death of the Rapture..
-there is no "end of the world"; there is no "rapture"
-these 2 concepts only came about in the early 1900s and were prominently spread by people like Hal Lindsey who have been proven false, yet many still base their end times belief from his work.

biblical end times.
-biblical end times already happened. (30-70AD)

There were a few rivers that turned completely red over the past couple years and isn't that a sign of the end times?
-algae

ARE WE IN THE END TIMES RIGHT NOW?
-NO WE ARE NOT

The rivers turning red has destroyed my peace of mind lately...
-again it's called red tide, caused by algae.

PLEASE give me some advice on how long do you think we have left until the end.
-my advice to you is, stop believing this false end time belief. and read your bible. the "end times, last days, etc" already happened.
---------------------------------
in summary...
-there is no such thing as rapture - not biblical, was only made in the early 1900s
-there is no such thing as a future tribulation - it already happened (30-70AD)
-there is no such thing as one-world ruler anti-christ. - "antichrist" has never and will never be a personified entity. antichrist is a false belief system specifically gnosticism. (there is no "antichrist" used in revelations, only 1 John and 2 John [just FYI])

Death is an ordinary and natural part of life, but does it ever stop feeling extraordinary and unnatural?

I'm sorry this question is long and rambling. I'm just typing without really thinking about whether this makes sense. I'm not asking this out of self-pity or a desire for sympathy. I apologize if anyone construes it as being a plea for attention or condolences. I'm just curious to know how others have reacted to death. How old are you? Have your reaction and attitudes towards death changed as you've aged?

Does the cycle of evolution stop?

no, evolution never stops.

You can look at humans specifically and see how much we've changed in the past few hundred years. (not even going back thousands of years)
Look in a museum at the clothes people used to wear.. the average height was around 5'... George Washington was considered a giant at 6'...
now, for a man 6' is bordering on short. That is a big change in just a few hundred years.

Evolution doesn't mean "one day a lizard, the next day a bird". it takes time. Most of the time we can't see it, because it occurs so slowly, but occasionally we can see it's direct effects.

So will it ever stop?
as long as there is life, the life will be changing to better suit it's environment, so if there is life, there is evolution

What is the average age dogs stop menstruating?

Dogs don't menstruate to BEGIN with. That lovely slice of hell is reserved for people and certain apes.

Bitches go into heat until the day they die or are spayed.

Michelle: No one said they don't bleed we said they don't MENSTRUATE. since you apparently didn't pay attention in school when menstruation was explained let me break it down for you.

Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining and unfertilized eggs when fertilization and implantation has NOT occurred. The discharge seen when a ***** is in heat and thus READY to breed is vaginal discharge. When mating does not occur the excess uterine lining and eggs are reabsorbed into the body.

Estrus and Menstruation are TWO SEPARATE things.

ETA: Who said anything about dog anatomy day? Even someone with the most basic understand of dog reproduction(not talking about you) should know the heat cycle is nothing like menstruation. Someone who doesn't know jack about dogs is allowed a flub like that. Anyone with that many bitches like Michelle should be smarter than the average bear.

And there were no insults thrown nor lashing out just correction of her glaring misinformation and lashing out at people who actually knew what they were talking about.

If the aim of Buddhism is to escape the cycle of birth and death, why did life and its attendant suffering bother to exist in the first place?

From a nondual Buddhist perspective you will die only because you believe you were born. The so-called cycle of birth and death exists only as an idea. Nevertheless, as long as you do not realize that, you may believe you were really born and will really die. That is worrying...Find out who you are. In reality. You are not whatever you think you are. That is just an opinion, conditioned by your genetics, upbringing and culture. You are also not whatever anyone else thinks you are. That is also an opinion.Your body is a changing mass of cells, molecules, atoms, elementary particles, probability waves. Your mind, if such a thing even really exists, is no more than a swirling stream of thoughts, emotions and sensations. Nothing fixed that you get hold of, certainly nothing that can be born or die.The material of which you are made existed long before you were born and will be around long after your so-called death. So who are you in fact. That is, other than your and others' opinions. Can you find out?Through study with a teacher, accurate meditation and spending time with like minded people also seeking the truth, you may realize who you really are. There is an absolutely clear answer. It is no mystery. At this point, your so-called birth and death will not occupy you. You will not find any cycles nor even the absence of cycles. In this place life is easier, more peaceful. This is what is meant by escaping the cycle of birth and death. The discovery that there never was anything from which to escape.A Buddhist story relates that a student asked his teacher, "How can I be free?". The teacher answered, "Who ever bound you?" I suspect this may have even predated Quora :-)Keep well,Jonathan

How can we end the never ending process of birth and death (reincarnation)?

This one is intimately connected to karma. When our action is not pure it leaves a trace and it leads to karma. It does not matter if it is good or bad but it is still karma. One is born as a natural consequence to resolve this karma. When one starts to live skillfully and action flows from his being and not self interest then it does not leave any trace. When we perform such action spontaneously that does not leave any trace then there is no karma. Once this happens there is no rebirth. This is at the core of all religions and masters. They suggest many paths to perform action without any center (ego) but it is not simple. Transcending the ego is not a simple matter so all human beings except for the rarest few leave a trace or build karma when they perform action. Nature has to balance this energy out and hence creates another birth for you to work out. This cycle repeats endlessly unless one realizes the error of incorrect action and start to live without any center. This is a natural law and it applies even if one does not believe in any religion. Living skillfully can take hundreds of thousands of years or it can happen this very minute because it is not a matter of time but of perception. All the gurus, teachers, meditations , practices can only act as aids or tools but they cannot give you perception. There is no magic bullet. People made a profession out spirituality but it is not that simple. It is only possible for the rarest of the rare though one wishes everyone should get this and be free.Life is short. And in this short life there is terrible suffering and uncertainties. Death, disease and old afflict rich and poor and everybody and end this life in spite of your best efforts. It will all be destroyed in the end. That is the truth of life. One has to be very simple and humble to see this. One has to have the grace of Nature or god. There are no shortcuts to this except perception and gods grace. At least that is what I think. To state anything with finality on such a topic is arrogance. Nobody can claim to know truth. It does not respect anybody. It just exists out there whether you like it or not.
