The Existence Of Undefinable Real Space In Nature And The Existence Of Real Time In Our Mind Tells

Let's talk about life, the universe and DEATH, shall we?

You put it EXACTLY....why do we do ANYTHING for what??? Get older, die?

How stupid. I guess 'enjoy the trip' maybe.

None of this made sense to me, either, but I didn't bother with
anything, just meandered along not knowing I was being led at all.

I'd see things, go to bookstores, used to go to talks, checked out some
interesting religions (wasn't searching)...just interesting.

I was finally drawn to Christianity. I didn't think anything of it before,
waste of time. Then I went to some talks on science and the bible.

WOW...ZAP...There are some things we NEVER forget. That was a big one for me.

My mate was so worried about me because I never would follow up, go to things,
and here I was...going every day. Mate said 'I'm coming along' and came
and got WAY more interested than I was.

So then BOTH interested.

I just 'love' science, took a whole bunch of them, but they led me eventually
to God because cells are just so amazing, so gorgeous, so complex.

I loved creation science which studies cells, birds, animals, people, to
see how they are made without saying ...the slime became the man
given millions of years.

Now we have the most amazing time together praying, praising the Lord,
having interesting things happen, reading and discussing the bible which
has become ALIVE for us.

And I will NEVER finish with this, thus I NEED eternity.
I am part of Jesus Christ, His body (a cell in His body) and
He is LIFE, thus I reside in Life.

(you have to be bapized to receive the new spirit, get that 'new start')

What does having a sense of "presence" mean?

Great question Shiva !!

What am I suppose to tell her that is not told by the others here ? Let me go, I just wanna read the answers here ! You gonna make me sound crazy anyway !

You tell her that when `` I am`` truly is realized even the term I am is lost because it is no longer a term but the being ITself. You tell her that

You tell her that when the mind silences itself from all theistic arguments and the curiosity of the mind is subdued by the truths of the heart then IT becomes to be as IT were and IT truly IS.

Tell her that the need to proclaim simply looses its need for IT needs not to be told of what IT IS to be truly what IT IS.

One more thing Shiva. Tell her that it is very, so very important to know then to beleive. Tell her that what`s more important then the millions of books that has been written is ones very experience of IT, THAT and THIS. Tell her that when one simply beleives without knowing or experiencing the very beliefs would become an illusion. Tell her Shiva to follow her own truths of her own heart for you reside there too. Don`t lie to me Shiva I know you do ! Gotcha !

Love you madman ! Love you in billion`s of faces and heartbeats !

Next question: How can "a being" be omnipresent?

It depends upon how you define or what you mean by all-present. In my mind, the existence of a person's creation is also that person's presence. In other words, the concept, I believe, has to do with being surround by the creation, thus giving forth the idea of being omnipresent.

Of course, that's the philosophical view. The best thing is to grab a dictionary definition and take a look at that:

om·ni·pres·ent -- adjective
present everywhere at the same time: the omnipresent God.
Origin: 1600–10; < Medieval Latin omnipraesent- (stem of omnipraesēns ), equivalent to Latin omni- omni- + praesent- present1

Related forms
om·ni·pres·ence, noun

Synonyms
Omnipresent, ubiquitous refer to the quality of being everywhere. Omnipresent emphasizes in a lofty or dignified way the power, usually divine, of being present everywhere at the same time, as though all-enveloping: Divine law is omnipresent. Ubiquitous is applied to that which seems to appear in many and all sorts of places, or in an undignified or humorous way is “all over the place,” often when unwanted: A bore seems to be ubiquitous.

There are ways to look at the term and have them make sense in a metaphorical manner. Many religious terms are like that and we have a raft of them in our English language. Consider the term "day" in the following statement, "Today is the _day_ of mankind." The word, in that sense, is metaphorical in nature. I suspect that there are terms that are applied to deity that fall into the same category -- in other words, they are not conducive to being used in a literal manner.

That's my opinion -- others will differ.
